The Trump Presidency

Haven't forgotten at all. "By August" of 2009 was 6 months into Obama's first term. LOL! How exactly does that bear on his inaugural turnout?
It proves that the people with time on their hands on January 20th, 2009, included hundreds of thousands of blue collar workers who had lost their jobs under the previous administration's piss-poor financial industry oversight. Because by August of that year, they had run out of unemployment benefits even under the extensions.

Easily enough to make up that entire crowd.

One main difference between the left and the right is the left assumes a zero sum game. The left assumes a fixed size national pie, that needs to be redistributed, to make it fair to all the people. In the mean time, leftist middle men skim, from the end users, proclaiming that there is never enough pie; more taxes. The right has more economic sense, since it is composed of evil businessmen. They assume the economy does not have to be a fixed sized pie. Rather the pie can grow; due to creating wealth, thereby accommodating new users via the growing nature of a positive sum game.

The leftists seem to assume that the right sees the world, also as a zero sum game, and therefore they will distribute the pie in a selfish way. This is a projection from the left. The right sees the need to place resources in the hands of the chefs, if you want the pie to get bigger. If you want a bigger apple pie you don't give away the apples to the patrons before you bake the pie. The chefs are those who have demonstrated the ability to create wealth or grow the pie.

Trump does not believe in the zero sum game, but rather in a growing pie scenario. Trump started with a million dollar nest egg, from his dad, and grew that pie over a thousand fold. He knows it is possible to grow the pie, via his own experiences. He is not a government worker or politicians who gets a fixed budget and does not create anything that adds value. It is not about politics to get out share of the fixed sum. Trump is from the free market where wealth can increase based on creating value.

The main problem that Trump and growing the pie, poses for the left, is they have many middle men, who benefit by the perceived inequality in their zero sum game. These middlemen, use the perceived inequality to generate their own living; stealing pie. For example the racist hucksters, benefit by never changing anything in the ghettos, the will eliminate their need. They are the middleman class of the zero sum game. The pie that is earmarked for the poor, never really changes anything, due to middleman skim and the games they play to maintain that skim. For example, more money is spend per student in cites like Baltimore, than any other city, yet the services; pie, that the poor students receive, does not equate to the value inputted. Some of this is due to the teachers unions and race hucksters. Both stack the deck so the middlemen can get their skim in the zero sum game.

The right is not about a zero sum game. They also have their middlemen, but an expanding pie will reach the end user with more net worth. If you bake a second pie, new uses get to share, via the second pie. The change needed could displace all those leftist middlemen service industries, that promote and profit by racism, sexism and phobias. They are feeling threatened, so expect to see them act up.

All they need to do is take a deep breath, and learn that Trump sees a positive sum game, which should allow them to get a share. Trump is not about redistributing a fixed pie. This is leftist projection. The leftist middlemen will need to evolve into free market thinking, since their present monopoly does not benefit a positive sum game nor does i benefit the end users. Monopoly makes more sense if you assume a zero sum game, but is not how you play a positive sum game.

And your evidence to support any of that crap is where? Let me guess; it's with all the other evidence you have failed to produce.

Unfortunately for you and your Republican fellows, honest, intelligent folks need something more than fascist rhetoric. They need evidence and reason.

Trump and his ideological comrade, Vladimir Putin, are the consumate "zero sum" advocates. Do you not understand Trump's whole "America first" schtick or are you being dishonest?

Trump has already shown his cards, and they aren't good. People keep expecting Trump to change, i.e. "to show his cards", because they cannot believe this man is going to be the POTUS. The truth is Trump has already shown his cards.

I love this show his cards argument, you can see how every one of is supports and republicans in general simply project their stick wet dreams onto trump, just wait whey they wank up and have to clean the mess up.

Perhaps they were all in the neighborhood pub today - they sure weren't out at the inauguration...

Glorious!, I could not see it when I was listening to this:

Really? It was estimated that 1.8 million attended the 2009 inaugural. So either the unemployed elsewhere could afford to travel to DC for the inaugural, or Maryland/Virginia accounted for that alone? o_O

They easily outnumbered the available welfare recipients you suggested, and had more money (their unemployment benefits had a few weeks to go yet, and unlike lots of welfare folks they didn't have to work). So W's unemployed were a more likely source of crowd numbers than W's "welfare" recipients.

Just sayin'.

So the women's march has out down Trump inauguration, no surprise there.

It's funny the press secretary claims that the difference is an optical illusion...and probably mixing up images of the events in question as well...

The unemployed were looking for work as they are required to do. Using your numbers, about 1 person in every 185 people attended the Obama's 2009 inauguration. At the that time, if memory serves, about 1 in 14 people were unemployed. Unemployed people greatly outnumbered the inauguration crowd.

The distracted POTUS....that's The Donald. He's more concerned about satisfying his ego than addressing the issues before the nation. Today the White House sent the day lying about the size of the crowd at his inaguration. How silly! Maybe he should spend more time getting his intelligence briefs and less time feeding his ego with falsehoods.

Which brings us to the next point, Trump's campaign was extraordinarily fact free and it appears Trump has every intention of running a fact free administration and in doing so will degrade the nation and put the nation at risk.

Trump's penchant for self aggrandizement appeals to his base, but most people, including our allies, find it, along with his penchant for lying, offensive.

It is interesting to note that the former leader of Gambia, Jammeh has just been forced into exile because he wouldn't accept the result of the election that saw him defeated.

Given Trumps reaction to the possibility of defeat in this election one could justifiably speculate trouble looms when he finally has to deal with the results of the next election or impeachment etc..
Maybe exile him to Mexico or Cuba.... if he refuses to accept the will of the people.

"A messy start and most likely a very messy ending"

President Donald Trump: No, it wasn't the biggest ever inauguration audience

What about TV viewership?
"Nielsen estimates 31 million people in America watched TV coverage of the inauguration.

That audience total, measuring continuous coverage by 12 broadcast and cable networks, did beat the 20.6 million who viewed Mr Obama's second inauguration in 2013.

But a president's second swearing-in typically sees a drop-off in viewership. Mr Obama's first inauguration in 2009 was seen by 37.8 million people.

The most-watched inauguration since 1969 was President Ronald Reagan's first oath-taking in 1981, which was seen by 41.8 million people."

He is way too tired when talking to the CIA...
Rambling tired... and terribly self focused...
Such a sad display... really not good....

That's Trump on a good day. Trump is a madman, that's the bottom line.
Unfortunately or fortunately Trumps performance in addressing some of the most intelligent people on the planet shows to any psychologist, psychiatrist or anyone who is a student of mental health that he is in real danger of a catastrophic melt down.

He is totally intimidated by the CIA and resorts to self aggrandizement to fill in the void in his thinking. He knows what he has claimed about the CIA and he knows that he is addressing the very people he condemned and most importantly he knows that the members of the audience can see right through him and do not forget anything.

He knows he can not compete intellectually with them and attempts to avoid dealing with it with egoistic bluster.

He either gets some really therapeutic rest ( sleep) - 3 days at least, or he will be forced to in a hospital somewhere.

The same is true of the press. Trump fears the press too.
