The Trump Presidency

I wonder how Trump would have responded if Obama had pulled the same stunt in 2016..
He might not have noticed. The Trump administration didn't begin the process of taking over until after the holidays, and never did assume many of the responsibilities of executive administration in the national government.
The incoming Biden administration is trying to do its job - that's how the issue came up.
This will be the third consecutive Republican administration that tried to screw up the incoming Democratic one, and the third one to accuse a Democratic administration of their own behavior and agenda.
Sanctions are a general method of US politics. Some (against a few persons) are symbolic and irrelevant, all other sanctions have the intention to hit the economy of the states which are sanctioned.
The sanctions against particular Russian mob figures - such as the ones using Trump to launder their profits - were neither symbolic or (as we discovered, when Putin spent all that time and money getting the US President under his thumb to escape them) irrelevant.
Proofs are for people really interested in truth. I have given up the idea to meet such people among Biden supporters.
You have yet to show you can identify Biden supporters, or any other US. political faction.

You have swallowed a lot of US corporate authoritarian propaganda without fact checking - as your silly Russian-fostered obsession with minor figures such as Hunter Biden affirms once again - and you make false claims about US domestic circumstances routinely and without apparent awareness -

so there's no way to be sure of what is ignorance and what is dishonesty on your part.

As your level of willfully maintained ignorance and obliviousness would be inexplicable in an intelligent and honest poster - despite your poster identity as a non-American - the matter devolves past ignorance to stupidity.

So we come up against the same old question; as with all the other little Republican apologists on this forum, it becomes: are you lying, or are you stupid?

This video of Mitch McConnell today should sink the Trump administrations claims of voter fraud.
How so? This speech was commenting on foreign involvement in the election process, while Trump is still bleating on about "tremendous fraud" supposedly perpetrated by the Democtats. i.e. his administration isn't claiming fraud due to foreign involvement, but simply by what he sees as the opposition trying to steal his rattle.

At first take I agree with you. It appears Mitch was discussing only foreign interference with the view to political grandstanding.
However, it makes sense to me that he was also stating, by implication, that the democratic voting processors were under intense surveillance and if there was any major organized voter fraud, domestic or other wise, they would have been caught up in the monitoring undertaken.
In other words I would suggest that this particular election would have been the most scrutinized election ever...due to the evidence of Russian and other foreign interference in the 2016 election.

It is also worth noting that the bipartisan investment that was made in protecting the 2020 election would not have happened if the wake up call of 2016 wasn't heard, contradicting a republican position that the 2016 issue was merely a democrat scare/credibility campaign to de-legitimize the 2016 Trump election. Providing, by default, confirmation that 2016 voter interference was real and tangible.

Oh, it's on there, but incognito. Spotted once in a while, lurking behind one of the traffic lights in those robot-filtering pictures, or hidden in a cartoon.
lol... reading into stuff could be seen as truth finding I guess...
One thing I have found over the years is that the so called truth of today found on the net is unlikely to be the truth of tomorrow.

McConnell was talking about how much effort and money went into the election process regarding foreign involvement, a bipartisan project, yet somehow the Democrats managed to bypass all of that security to create enough voter fraud to swing the election. Doesn't add up.

I believe that social media management was very important as well... twitter, Facebook, etc managed reasonably well in stemming the BS that would otherwise be at play...Especially the management of Trumps ranting tweets.

Goodness! Did somebody forget to take his little yellow pill this morning?

Lead healthy lifestyle and at 78, have not been on any medications, prescribed or self administered, legal or illegal, for 40 / 50 years

Did miss my yearly general health check up due to being stranded in Bali (7 months and counting) and the COVID-19 lockdown Australia is still running

Inul girlfriend, and I, have no symptoms of COVID-19 but since neither of us have been tested no idea if have or have had

My burst out is in response to not having a hypothetical question answered with a hypothetical answer in a "well if that, then this" format

And now topped off with

Did I explain it properly?
Once the president is sworn in he becomes "untouchable".

Trump is a perfect example. He committed crimes while in office and he could not be prosecuted or removed from office. They tried (impeachment) and failed.

when no such explanation was given in previous post and such a answer shows a lack of understanding of the question

Today need to venture out to Indonesian Embassy to apply for another 3 months extension on my travel visa with Inul as my sponsor

:)

I think that what you are questioning is entirely unprecedented and not a single democratic system could withstand such a situation.
The only solution would be, to avoid civil war, to hold another election after nullifying the first one.
The concern that Trump is conspiring to force such a huge constitutional crisis by artificially generating an "in you face" and "blatant yet unable to be legally refuted fraud" so late in the game is a tad fanciful... IMO

Like Trump did with tariffs on Canada?
Morals is something devoid in the Trump administration as they send in their army of ambulance chasing lawyers.
The point being? As if I would have connected somewhere Trump with something moral.
The sanctions against particular Russian mob figures - such as the ones using Trump to launder their profits - were neither symbolic or (as we discovered, when Putin spent all that time and money getting the US President under his thumb to escape them) irrelevant.
LOL, sounds like you really believe such nonsense.
You have yet to show you can identify Biden supporters, or any other US. political faction.
LOL, as if I would have to care who supports whatever from Biden to BLM.

The remaining quite aggressive but primitive personal attacks strongly suggest that you have not liked the jokes about the voting dead.

OK, if you're that healthy, I guess you can afford to lose your rag at the slightest disappointment in internet communication. Have at 'em!

slightest disappointment in internet communication.

Lost it a little bit with sponsor also at Immigration Department (NOT Embassy - I mis spoke), arrived, collected numbered ticket, Inul went off, 5 min later number called, Inul not back, came back ½ hour later, had gone to (never mind) another number blah blah blah

Anyway seems like approved, go back in about 3 days for photo and stamp in passport

So still interested in theoretical answer to my theoretical question?

Don't over think it. If you don't understand it I will flesh it more on request

Perhaps to forestall some details I can fill out a bit more now
  • Biden sworn in - ie Biden now President
  • unfalsifiable evidence comes to light - NOTE have not stated type of evidence or which candidate it help or hindered
  • election was rigged - NOTE have not stated by whom
  • what happens? ie where is perhaps best place to reveal evidence? Jo himself? Secret Service? other?
:)

I answered that; As soon as Biden is sworn in as president, he becomes untouchable except for "impeachment".

What is the defect you obviously suffer from where you don't understand questions so continue to give wrong answers because you answer some other question conjured up inside your brain?

Show this thread to a close friend and have that person look at Post #4732 in this thread and give you a assessment if your Post #4733 makes sense

Even readers of this thread can play this game

I answered that; As soon as Biden is sworn in as president, he becomes untouchable except for "impeachment".

Just for the author of the above

TYPE OUT OUT WHAT QUESTION OF MINE YOU THINK YOU ARE ANSWERING
If after Biden is sworn in as president (has taken the oath) and it is later discovered there is unfalsifiable evidence of tampering, there are no remedies to unseat the president except for impeachment. OK?

The key word is "sworn in as president". You cannot "unswear" a president.
You can try to impeach.

I agree with you here, except that I would formulate it in a slightly different way. What was indeed a very important outcome of these elections is that the asocial media have discredited themselves quite openly as censoring information, moreover, in the same way as the controlled mass media. So, they are now simply put down to the same status as the existing mass media. What has been a quite dangerous instrument has lost a lot of its power.
lol... any one with half a brain knows that there is no TRUTH on the net..
It is hidden, and you have to work hard to find it. But you have at least a chance to find it because you can hear all sides, and can also hear comments of other, neutral people, specialists and so on. Those who prefer the Western mass media have no chance. They are handled like small children who are not allowed to hear other sides than their parents and teachers, even if this other side is the president of the US.

the asocial media have discredited themselves quite openly as censoring information,
You mean filtering news for truth by asocial media is censoring? You know that asocial media is tantamount to propaganda?
It is hidden, and you have to work hard to find it
Seems to me that the actual News organization which spend thousand of dollars in verifying all news for verifiable truth by several reliable sources is a better way to read the NEWS.

Not solving cryptograms (riddles) posed by people like you.

I think that any publication by any individual should be subject to the laws of slander, libel, incitement, defamation etc... you push that share button you face the consequences. You publish deliberate lies that defame or incite then yo pay the consequences. There is a need to develop laws that deal with liars. People who deliberately lie to stoke mass hysteria etc... should face consequences.
Perhaps in the near future peoples behavior online will force regulation upon them as it has always been the case I guess...
The governments are not stuffing up the free web, people are...every time some moron posts BS, trolls of flames it is just another nail in the coffin of unregulated free speech.

Example:
Trump is making a heap of unsupported claims to truth about the electoral integrity of the USA. He needs to be held accountable for the damage he has done and is currently still doing to the democratic processes. Every tweet every public statement, every lie needs to have consequences.

You really have a bad case of what ever it is you have

Can not even follow a simple request to help you diagnosis your defect

  • TYPE OUT OUT WHAT QUESTION OF MINE YOU THINK YOU ARE ANSWERING

I should ask you to try again but that might send you deeper down the rabbit hole

So will make a effort to explain
  • Type out your answer - here let me help
If after Biden is sworn in as president
  • IN FRONT of your answer - more help coming
If after Biden is sworn in as president
  • TYPE OUT OUT WHAT QUESTION OF MINE YOU THINK YOU ARE ANSWERING
Now this is the part you seem to be stuck on

My questions

Q's --- what happens? ie where is perhaps best place to reveal evidence? Jo himself? Secret Service? other?

A's --- If after Biden is sworn in as president (has taken the oath) and it is later discovered there is unfalsifiable evidence of tampering, there are no remedies to unseat the president except for impeachment. OK?

The key word is "sworn in as president". You cannot "unswear" a president.
You can try to impeach

Now NOW can you seriously, hand on heart, say your answer covers ANY of those questions?

what happens? NO
best place to reveal evidence? NO
Jo himself? NO
Secret Service? NO
other? NO

And remember the lead in to the questions consisted of the following
  • unfalsifiable evidence comes to light - NOTE have not stated type of evidence or which candidate it help or hindered
additional help added for this post I have repeated
NOTE have not stated type of evidence or which candidate it help or hindered ie type of evidence - not really important but put in because someone would be bound to ask
which candidate it help or hindered - ie could be one or the other or neither

  • election was rigged - NOTE have not stated by whom
Well let's go for broke - a Chinese house full of computer operatives with more than a few high-end main frame computers and manuals with details of how to proceed with the hacking of the election was to proceed and over half of those in the COMPLETED pile

Biden sworn in - ie Biden now President
This is merely a STATEMENT - HAS NOTHING- REPEAT NOTHING - TO DO WITH WHAT SHOULD BE DONE WITH THE EVIDENCE - AND DOUBLE NOTHING TO DO WITH TRYING TO PUT HIM OUT OF OFFICE

:)

Perhaps, but if the threat is from overseas, and you're intensely surveilling the sky for bombers, you're not really looking for the little boy tying your shoelaces together. The threat from foreign interference, I'd imagine, would mostly be in the digital realm - the Cambridge Analytica methodology etc. So surveillance and counter-measures would be focussed there. The "tremendous fraud" they think the Democrats pulled off is more in the physical realm - i.e. the physical votes.
