It's going to be surreal, literally.I suspect the Constitutional crisis has been averted for now. It is going to be one very mean election cycle.
It has been either won - by the Republicans - or still on the table.I suspect the Constitutional crisis has been averted for now.
I talked to a ton of people while reporting this book — Republicans, Democrats, random people in Trump’s orbit. They all have a story.
I think it's ongoing.I suspect the Constitutional crisis has been averted for now. It is going to be one very mean election cycle.
True. He very much exhibits the hallmark traits of a psychopath - lacks empathy for others, doesn't seem to have a well formed conscience, deeply insecure, and believes he is untouchable. His views of women also stem from psychopathy/misogyny. Psychopaths are known for over compensating their insecurities through arrogance and deception.IMO, Trump is a typical example of a psychopath. The concept of acting honorably towards others is alien to his mind. There is only "winning" at all costs.
See thread; "What is your definition of evil" for the distinctive properties of Psychopaths.
IMO, his psychosis leans in the direction of a God complex.True. A god complex is an unshakable belief characterized by consistently inflated feelings of personal ability, privilege, or infallibility. A person with a god complex may refuse to admit the possibility of their error or failure, even in the face of irrefutable evidence, intractable problems or difficult or impossible tasks.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_complexThe person is also highly dogmatic in their views, meaning the person speaks of their personal opinions as though they were unquestionably correct.[1] Someone with a god complex may exhibit no regard for the conventions and demands of society, and may request special consideration or privileges
Still haven't cracked that dictionary, apparently.Wow I'm glad you all aren't psychologists.
Psychopaths kill people and take joy in doing so.
Seven deadly sins of narcissism,
Psychiatrists Hotchkiss and James F. Masterson identified what they called the seven deadly sins of narcissism".
How many of these definitions apply?1. Shamelessness: Narcissists are often proudly and openly shameless; they are not bound emotionally by the needs and wishes of others. Narcissists hate shame, and consider it "toxic", as shame implies they are not perfect and need to change. Narcissists prefer guilt over shame, as guilt allows them to dissociate their actions from themselves - it's only their actions that are wrong, while their intention is good.
2. Magical thinking: Narcissists see themselves as perfect, using distortion and illusion known as magical thinking. They also use projection to "dump" shame onto others.
3. Arrogance: A narcissist who is feeling deflated may "reinflate" their sense of self-importance by diminishing, debasing, or degrading somebody else.
4. Envy: A narcissist may secure a sense of superiority in the face of another person's ability by using contempt to minimizethe other person or their achievements.
5. Entitlement: Narcissists hold unreasonable expectations of particularly favorable treatment and automatic compliance because they consider themselves special. Failure to comply is considered an attack on their superiority, and the perpetrator is considered an "awkward" or "difficult" person. Defiance of their will is a narcissistic injury that can trigger narcissistic rage.
6. Exploitation: Can take many forms but always involves the exploitation of others without regard for their feelings or interests. Often the other person is in a subservient position where resistance would be difficult or even impossible. Sometimes the subservience is not so much real as assumed. This exploitation may result in many brief, short-lived relationships.
7. Bad boundaries: Narcissists do not recognize that they have boundaries and that others are separate and are not extensions of themselves. Others either exist to meet their needs or may as well not exist at all. Those who provide narcissistic supply to the narcissist are treated as if they are part of the narcissist and are expected to live up to those expectations. In the mind of a narcissist, there is no boundary between self and other.

Trump uses millions of US taxpayer dollars in US farmer bailout funds to bail out a huge Brazilian meatpacking corporation, run by criminals, that was not losing money.
At this point the Constitutional crisis has moved more to Congress trying to ignore the 4th amendment which does supercede Article 1.I think it's ongoing.

Nobody said you couldn't stab your own baby while in the womb... Except mental institutions. Fall down the stairs on purpose. Have unprotected sex and expect the government to pick up the tab on whatever disease you get. Or feel like you may have gotten.banning abortion is the unlawful seizure of the right of self determination
No evidence of that. You don't argue.I can seize your self determination just by arguing.
The Republicans did - still do.Nobody said you couldn't stab your own baby while in the womb... Except mental institutions. Fall down the stairs on purpose. Have unprotected sex and expect the government to pick up the tab on whatever disease you get.
They are Constitutionally obligated to oversee and evaluate the performance of the members of the other branches, and if necessary impeach them. The house and Senate are supposed to write laws!
Not make their own courts!
August 8, 2018 at 3:39 pm From an old article by Marie Brenner in Vanity Fair : Ivana Trump told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that from time to time her husband reads a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed.
