The Post Whatever Thread

I've had those "Is this how I go" situations but that has nothing to do the NDEs being talked about here. Those have to do with low oxygen induced experiences.

for the record
for anyone reading this
there is other occurrences involved
random neuron firing mixed with random memory recall and sudden releases of transmitter chemicals which suddenly floods parts of the brain collecting and mixing old and new and supposedly forgotten events etc etc etc etc
low oxygen levels are just a collective reality of a majority of things like drowning & heart attacks
you could argue drowning of baptized Christians is pre coded to induce panic response religious hallucinations. so it would invalidate any NDE reports by baptized Christians drowning.
etc etc
a "real" NDE has demonstrated knowledge by the experience who obtains and explains that knowledge when they had no possible way of finding that out.

one of the 1st modern well documented cases is a hospital patient who was in the OR and clinically dead for a moment or so and gave precise descriptions of 1 or 2 people whom were in the hospital but they had never met
1 or 2 including precise descriptions of whom & what people were wearing who came in and attended to them while they were in a state of coma
etc etc fyi

with hard core brain washing indoctrination of children by religion
being so common
it is very hard to un pick that brain washing from real unexplained experiences
additionally
religious people seeking to lay claim to own NDE as a christian experience to take control of its power
seek to invalidate non aligned events that do not support christian religious ideology.
like all those prey the gay away & exorcism self anointed crazy people going about trying to take control of other people.

quick example from me
right now
i have been reading the news reading sciforums typing and listening to music
and it felt like roughly 15 to 20 minutes had passed, but it turned out to be an hour
and as i suddenly realized i thought back thinking it only felt like 10 to 15 minutes.

timey wimey

Americans say “cheesy” ^^ when we find something tacky or rolling-eyes worthy.

so you could say to some actors on stage
"i want you to put on something cheesy"
and they would be able to make up content ?

i guess UK cheesy is a bit like picket fences the tv series
everything is stereo typed and classically pre defined as absolutes in a slap stick manner of complicit cause & effect

Hmm, interesting. When it comes to cheesy films, the US has the “Hallmark channel.” -_-

Google it and you’ll see what I mean if they have trailers/clips available.

perfect hallmark cheese needs to have that
slight emotionally cold distance of "everyone on mood stabilizers"
stuck in the late 80s colour tones
right on the border between tech upgrades and hyper minimalism and overt materialism gilted bunting on everything.

everything is individually emotional
where nothing is allowed to touch the inner sense of happiness
which is securely attached to material reality to service the desire of absolute mechanics.
exactly as these actors are acting so precisely
bringing that air of environmental encapsulation to life.

Who are those women?

BLAME
How the world works lately...

If a man cuts his finger off while
Slicing salami at work,
He blames the restaurant.

If you smoke three packs a day
For 40 years and die of lung cancer,
Your family blames the
Tobacco company.

If your neighbor crashes
Into a tree while driving home drunk,
He blames the bartender.

If your grandchildren are
BLAME2333.gif

Brats without manners,
You blame television.

If your friend is shot by a
Deranged madman,
You blame the gun manufacturer..

And if a crazed person breaks
Into the cockpit and
Tries to kill the pilot at 35,000 feet,
And the passengers
Kill him instead,
The mother of the crazed deceased
Blames the airline.

I must have lived too long to
Understand the world
As it is anymore.

So, if I die while my OLD WRINKLED ASS
is parked in front of this computer,
I want all of you to
Blame Bill Gates .

Two Stories BOTH TRUE - and worth reading!!!!

STORY NUMBER ONE

Many years ago, Al Capone virtually owned Chicago . Capone wasn't famous for anything heroic. He was notorious for enmeshing the windy city in everything from bootlegged booze and prostitution to murder.

Capone had a lawyer nicknamed "Easy Eddie." He was Capone's lawyer for a good reason. Eddie was very good! In fact, Eddie's skill at legal maneuvering kept Big Al out of jail for a long time.

To show his appreciation, Capone paid him very well. Not only was the money big, but Eddie got special dividends, as well. For instance, he and his family occupied a fenced-in mansion with live-in help and all of the conveniences of the day. The estate was so large that it filled an entire Chicago City block.

Eddie lived the high life of the Chicago mob and gave little consideration to the atrocity that went on around him.

Eddie did have one soft spot, however. He had a son that he loved dearly. Eddie saw to it that his young son had clothes, cars, and a good education. Nothing was withheld. Price was no object.

And, despite his involvement with organized crime, Eddie even tried to teach him right from wrong. Eddie wanted his son to be a better man than he was.

Yet, with all his wealth and influence, there were two things he couldn't give his son; he couldn't pass on a good name or a good example.

One day, Easy Eddie reached a difficult decision. Easy Eddie wanted to rectify wrongs he had done..

He decided he would go to the authorities and tell the truth about Al "Scarface" Capone, clean up his tarnished name, and offer his son some semblance of integrity. To do this, he would have to testify against The Mob, and he knew that the cost would be great. So, he testified.

Within the year, Easy Eddie's life ended in a blaze of gunfire on a lonely Chicago Street . But in his eyes, he had given his son the greatest gift he had to offer, at the greatest price he could ever pay. Police removed from his pockets a rosary, a crucifix, a religious medallion, and a poem clipped from a magazine.

The poem read:

"The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour. Now is the only time you own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in time. For the clock may soon be still."

STORY NUMBER TWO

World War II produced many heroes.

One such man was Lieutenant Commander Butch O'Hare.

He was a fighter pilot assigned to the aircraft carrier Lexington in the South Pacific.

One day his entire squadron was sent on a mission. After he was airborne, he looked at his fuel gauge and realized that someone had forgotten to top off his fuel tank.

He would not have enough fuel to complete his mission and get back to his ship.

His flight leader told him to return to the carrier. Reluctantly, he dropped out of formation and headed back to the fleet.

As he was returning to the mother ship, he saw something that turned his blood cold; a squadron of Japanese aircraft was speeding its way toward the American fleet.

The American fighters were gone on a sortie, and the fleet was all but defenseless. He couldn't reach his squadron and bring them back in time to save the fleet. Nor could he warn the fleet of the approaching danger. There was only one thing to do. He must somehow divert them from the fleet.

Laying aside all thoughts of personal safety, he dove into the formation of Japanese planes. Wing-mounted 50 caliber's blazed as he charged in, attacking one surprised enemy plane and then another. Butch wove in and out of the now broken formation and fired at as many planes as possible until all his ammunition was finally spent.

Undaunted, he continued the assault. He dove at the planes, trying to clip a wing or tail in hopes of damaging as many enemy planes as possible, rendering them unfit to fly.

Finally, the exasperated Japanese squadron took off in another direction.

Deeply relieved, Butch O'Hare and his tattered fighter limped back to the carrier.

Upon arrival, he reported in and related the event surrounding his return. The film from the gun-camera mounted on his plane told the tale. It showed the extent of Butch's daring attempt to protect his fleet. He had, in fact, destroyed five enemy aircraft
This took place on February 20, 1942 , and for that action Butch became the Navy's first Ace of W.W.II, and the first Naval Aviator to win the Medal of Honor.

A year later Butch was killed in aerial combat at the age of 29. His home town would not allow the memory of this WW II hero to fade, and today, O'Hare Airport in Chicago is named in tribute to the courage of this great man.

So, the next time you find yourself at O'Hare International, give some thought to visiting Butch's memorial displaying his statue and his Medal of Honor. It's located between Terminals 1 and 2.

SO WHAT DO THESE TWO STORIES HAVE TO DO WITH EACH OTHER?

Butch O'Hare was "Easy Eddie's" son.

:)

Senior citizens are constantly being criticized for every conceivable deficiency of the modern world, real or imaginary. We know we take responsibility for all we have done and do not blame others.

HOWEVER, upon reflection, we would like to point out that it was NOT the senior citizens who took

The melody out of music;

The pride out of appearance;

The courtesy out of driving;

The romance out of love;

The commitment out of marriage;

The responsibility out of parenthood;

The togetherness out of the family;

The learning out of education;

The service out of patriotism;

The Golden Rule from rulers;

The nativity scene out of cities;

The civility out of behavior;

The refinement out of language;

The dedication out of employment;

The prudence out of spending;

The ambition out of achievement or

God out of government and school.

And we certainly are NOT the ones whoeliminated patience and tolerance from personal relationships and interactions with others!!

And, we do understand the meaning of patriotism, and remember those who have fought and died for our country.

Just look at the Seniors with tears in their eyes and pride in their hearts as they stand at attention with their hand over their hearts!

YES, I'M A SENIOR CITIZEN!

I'm the life of the party . . . even if it lasts until 8 p.m.

I'm very good at opening childproof caps . .. . with a hammer.

I'm awake many hours before my body allows me to get up.

I'm smiling all the time because I can't hear a thing you're saying.

I'm sure everything I can't find is in a safe secure place, somewhere.

I'm wrinkled, saggy, lumpy, and that's just my left leg..

I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.

Yes, I'm a SENIOR CITIZEN and I think I am having the time of my life!

Now if I could only remember who sent this to me, I wouldn't send it back to them, but I would send it to many more too!

shazbeen has-been given her marching orders
as i expected
she jumped on a flaming band wagon heading toward a combustible brick wall.

i personally do not think shazbeen is racist, per say ...
i think she is a hyper liberal who is set in classism privilege where she is unable to see the influence of xenophobic bias concepts inside the hyper liberal rich elitist small world view.
does the average person know the difference between a racist & bias privilege classism ?(not a chance)

here is the link
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-56547718

what struck me significantly to post this comment is this paragraph which kinda smacks of something sus(Australian word for suspicious)

However, CBS said it acknowledged the network, studio teams and producers were "accountable for what happened during that broadcast" because "it was clear the co-hosts were not properly prepared by the staff for a complex and sensitive discussion involving race".

so here is my question
how can you in good faith
have a panel of supposed intellectuals, who are ill equipped to discuss the #1 social issue(racism) in the usa
in the usa ... ?
im guessing someone is playing victim & trying to play the company ladder to blame the managers for not sticking a stick up their ass(UK expression meaning they have been turned into puppets) and propping them up on the lawn like helcion loaded garden gnomes on a bender

it's a little bit of irony that they are flaming a brit about racism while being in the usa
and being incapable of discussing the subject intelligently
i guess and quiet rightly so if told, CBS are hedging to keep xenophobic white people viewers who are anti multi culturalism on side including the right wing big money racist republicans

thats my tuppence worth
up-yours ya slimey bastards !(not directing that at shazbeen or cbs)

rather than stagnate with obstinance
im not sure she is driving in the correct lane in her head

engineering craft work creativity is a critical need for continuing(inspiring & teaching & inventions) science education down to younger generations
the at home electrical.mechanical/engineer becomes the haphazard instinctual inventor of many things once they have free time to invest in their chosen hobby.

The New Government Symbol

THE GOVERNMENT'S NEW SYMBOL IS THAT OF A CONDOM

Because it more accurately reflects
the government's political stance....
  • A condom allows for inflation
  • halts production
  • destroys the next generation
  • protects a bunch of dicks and
  • gives you a sense of security
  • while you're actually being screwed

usa
republican conservative government IS the usa government and has been for the last 100 to 150 years
republicans have won close to 70%(or more) of all presidential elections in the usa since the constitution was created.

modern technology
science, weapons laws new political positions white-house jobs new industry's
have all been built off the back of creating new regulations to infringe on the conservative government model to create more liberal development

celebrity TV made how many republican presidents ?
ronald regan and donald trump for starters

so if you apply the hyper conservative model of puritan government to them, they would be invalidated as peoples choices

funny how the world turns

the alt-right & alt-left are anarchists
anarchists & fascist & communists tend to drink from the same cup of social liberty

Going to buy a hammock, soon. I'll have to hang it on my back porch, attaching it to two 'pillars' but would love a set up like this:
