Currently have some spare time when I am not being prodded, poked or otherwise examined
Breakfast arrived but was missing the tube of coffee. Asked a nurse if I she would, when not busy, be able to provide a coffee
Came back saying only decafe in prep pantry would that be OK?
Mr Google here I come
Google - how much caffeine in a coffee
Turns out Coffee has -
about 95 mg on average
Decafe about 2 mg
Should such a low level per cup be allowed to have coffee in its name as in decaffeinated coffee?
Other ingredients such as
compounds like flavonoids, lignans, plant alkaloids, and magnesium remain after caffeine has been removed
Can no person come up with catchy name for the above mentioned compounds, a spoonful of which produces a passable hot beverage?
Tea on average has 55 mg. Went off tea when was made with loose tea leaves. Never went back even after tea bags appeared. Taste of coffee much better than taste of tea, even decafe version
Apart from the aforementioned remaining compounds it should be possible to add other flavourings to those compounds to produce Lemon - Lime - Strawberry etc etc
Stop calling it decaffeinated coffee
Launch the compounds, as
