It's been renovated, so we've got a contemporary art museum look to it.
A giant three-story high ceiling when you walk in, the wavy glass hall you see in the picture, 2nd floor balconies to display artwork, sky lights in all parts of the school to provide friendly luminence, real stone pillars, real wood railings and a sleek black metal guard underneath, windows in every classroom (literally, even in classes that don't have access to a view outside, there are windows showing the hallways outside, and to the inside of the school).....aaahh...it's magnificent.
It also takes up one entire city block, and holds almost 2000 students right now. (The numbers will be cut down soon, though)
Yeah, I like the Earl Haig bldg too. Except for the unfortunate name, it's such an arts school. Darn the Claude Watson kids! If only I had a digital camera, I could show you the inside!
Nice college building! I like the glass antechamber/front hall/hangover thingie.
Your old school's really big! So many buildings...my old school's were usually just one or two, unless it's my old old old old school, Jesse Ketchum. It used to be some sort of military "thing", so the basements were creepy, and it had really old but nice architectural features.
Didn't the ancient pioneers of the West go to those kind of schools, Wet1? With the furnace near the centre, all the children studiously working away at their slates, and the winter chill howling at the thick log walls?
