Isn't that like ... a lot? I thought you were pretty skinny tostart of with? (Well, not "skinny" but not at all chubby or anything either)

Yeah it is kind of a lot. I was 199 before hand, am now 171. Problem is, with all the running and the slight diet and what not I seem to have lost a bit of my muscle too. So now for hockey the goal is to gain weight. Arg. Run 10k a day to loose 28 pounds and now I gotta put about 10 of them back on!

LOL, yeah, what Adam said. :D :p And I don't have a digital camera handy anyway. ;)

Tyler - tough routine! Good luck, anyway. I'm sure it's easier to gain weight than to lose it. :)

no way Firefly

I have had xp.

1st- I hate to eat much
2nd - I am training daily so it is double hard for me.

but I am sort of thin

I am 1.74m high and 3 days ago weighted only 53.6kg

Putting on fat is easy. Putting on large amounts of muscle is not so easy. At least, not for me.

Hmm, I can see the subtle difference. :)

I used to do aerobics to keep fit, but don't anymore, think I'm getting out of shape. :( Though swimming is apparently good for both losing weight and building up muscles?

Swimming I don't have much accessibility to, but yes it is suppose to be quite good at loosing fat and, eventually, gaining muscle. Hockey training is hard. I had to spend $150CAN just to get a proper weight bench and weights. However, working out is fun. It just takes a long time. When I started out trying to loose fat/gain muscle it went REALLY fast. Now that I'm going from big to junior hockey-big it's going slowly.

I suppose it's good that you're so committed (and that you enjoy it) I would so never spend that much money. :p

what I like about Taekwon-Do is that you can exercise with no money expenses if you truly want

additional goes-
+outfit
+protection gear

Tae-kwon-do unless you are a black belt above the age of 16 (in Canada that is) you NEED equipment to fight in major tournaments. I did Tae from 6-12 and Kung-fu from 10-14 (well, 15, but I quit like 2 months after my birthday).

if you TRULY want you can learn TKD with no tournaments and in ancient times in tournaments (test fights) there was no protective gear;)
You can become a master with no prot gear.
but that's RARE and not in ITF or WTF.

btw- I'm thinking of adding Jiu Jitsu to my TKD (don't even think of drpping TKD)...
my instructor advised me that if I want to broaden my abilities.

Swimming, yes! I've swam enough for the past 6 years of my life to get my hair sufficently chlorine lightened and lung capacity expanded. :) I would swim more, but it's lots of hard work, and the trainers are relentless slave-drivers. All they need is a whip and a less toned body. The pool instructors at my old school were evil. Bad...bad memories... *twitches*

:D

LOL, I didn#'t use to like simming at school, but then you learn, cliched as it is, it actually is for your own good! Now I like swimming, it's good for the body, and enjoyable too (amd might save your life one day :p)

Though heh, didn't know chlorine would dye hair or affect your lungs.

I really like women who are into swimming. They serve as eye candies for men :p

Chlorine = bleach. Swimming is great for the lungs because you suck in air and hold it, then force it out hard, suck in more... Great exercise for them.

Joeman - It's not just one way. ;)

Tyler - I usually just swimming with my mouth above water?

Note to self - Spelling mistake!! Sacriledge!! :p
