Permit me to answer that, Yes they are eucalyptus leaves and the trunk in the background is a casuarina ( such a cool name for a beautiful tree).

If you're ever out bush, here's a tip, Never lie on clay or clay like soil, that stuff soaks up your body heat through the toughest insulation, Damn it was cold, And yes Spud, you would feel cold too. especially in winter.
