the year that made a big difference to me was when i turned 20, that's when i funished university and had to learn not to be a student anymore... work for a living, having a lot more responsability, and not being able to use the "i'm just a student" excuse

u finished university when u were 20!????????!!!!!!! how in the world? I am 19 and only a freshman in U.

i got admited at 17, eliminated a couple of classes with some credits that i had, did an insane schedule taking as many classes as i was allowed on each semester, and managed not to fail any... i also had the help of a teacher to get me a job at a lab so i could do my research while i was still taking some classes
i wouldnt recomend it to anyone though... those were 3 years in which i didnt live

ummm....can u tell me what was ur major? ( I am plannin to major in Aerospace Engin.)

At one point i realized that the unlimited potential of the young is just hype. Most people will not do anything special with their lives anyway. That kid you see as a possible president is just going to end up working in an office somewhere.

The idea of age is a curse. It takes a person who is 20, who should be learning to appreciate how much they can enjoy living, and forces an unrealistic timeline on them based on what some superstar did once. And it tells the person who is 50 that their life is basically over, when it comes to transformation and achievement.

Remember this -
It takes a lot longer to grow an oak tree than it does to grow a weed.

Love yourself.
Bye.

if i could do university again, i'd probably do it with a lot more calm... it suited me a purpose to do it as quick as that, but i would not recomend that to anyone. i was very isolated from everything else during those 3 years, and the stress had a great impact on my health

I agree.
The best way to stifle a person is to tell them what they should be, and on what terms.
Soon enough, the person adopts this as their inner voice, and does the stifling for herself or himself.

Then, to love oneself, becomes absurd -- nobody loves someone who is not what they think they should be.

That's nice and inspiring, but in reality most old people become fuglies, and nobody likes a fugly.

That is why it is basically over at 50,
because of the time it takes to grow an oak.

Well, I wouldn't know. I grow only cherry trees.

i've been working for about a 1/2 year as a product specialist for a the comercial representative of zimmer spine in brazil... i do trainings, visit doctors, answer stupid questions, write manuals, etc... this year i have been planing to do a research on biomechanics of the spine for my master degree, but they hired a new manager that is getting on my nerves... ive been thinking about leaving the company

most of the people i studied with work in clinic engineering department in hospitals doing maintenance in medical equipments, i had a job like that for a while too, it was fun :)

In my experience, managers are low forms of life, and nearly all jobs suck. Quitting will just lead to another shitty job.
