There is no absolute freedom. Privatized "law" is just rule by the wealthy, which is not you by the way.
Its been flirted with from time to time. It doesn't work very well as the privatized army figures out pretty quick they can just take what they want and forget about the rich. I.e it devolves from oligarchs into warlords pretty quick.
