I agree that those women are sickening to look at, but in their primes, they were generally deemed by people as very attractive. There are many other examples though. Like Jessica Simpson. She's a giant mouth. So is Beyonce. Lots of other examples too that I can think of. Might have something to do with sexual selection. Big mouths are part of the package that men find attractive. Clear skin, well-formed breasts, hour glass figure, fat in the right places, demure demeanor, big mouth and lips. Perhaps a large mouth accentuates the lips. Maybe a big mouth represents to a man that she will be a good mother and will be good at asserting her dominance by talking and projecting her voice.
While I agree with you that those women are horribly disgusting to look at, most people find (or used to find) them very attractive. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but not completely.

I was reading on this topic in an old copy of new scientist. Apparently a physical feature that is seen as attractive on average in women is a small lower jaw. Ironically this gives problem for teeth under normal circumstances.
What happened to this thread..? Has everyone suddenly turned gay?
Perhaps after seeing some of the supposed "most beautiful women on earth" yes.
Or they just lost all hope and killed themselves.
