Common folk always use a celebrity as an example of "the most beautiful girl in the world." The human worship mentality: hierarchy.

Personally, I find the girls I see in everyday life much more attractive than any celebrity. PLus, the majority of female celebrities are Jewish women and I don't personally care for the Middle-Eastern look. Of course, most Western females don't care for the Oriental look. But there is a strong trend of Western males choosing Oriental females.

All the lecture theatres I use have "Ross loves asians" scrawled on half the desks. I don't think Ross is alone there :)

I agree with you about the famous thing. 'The girl next door' is a nicer find than a celebrity. Eye contact is a major part of the attraction for me.
