Nope not a neo-Nazi in Germany but the chief Rabbi in Israel telling the Pope to pass his message.

I wonder what the reaction would be if the Pope directed all the priests to tell the world that the Jews belonged in Israel.

Maybe the priests could speak in a German accent and goose step while they are at it.

Anyways, I wish both religions would remember this:
With the mufti, he recalled the common roots of all three monotheistic religions in the story of Abraham and Jerusalem.
 
well, the Pope (christian leader) is there meeting with leaders of faiths other than his own. He's reminding them of common roots. And the pope doesn't speak for all catholics, just like this rabbi doesn't speak for all jews.

Kinda like an saudi judge saying its ok to beat women, doesn't speak for all saudi's
 
Yeah I agree, but this is the chief Rabbi of Israel, remember? The rabbi is a religious leader, not an occupation.

Anyway, I just thought it was anti-semitic to suggest that Jews belong in Israel. Thats exactly what the Nazis said.

Even more ludicrous to imagine that Jews outside Israel would give a rats ass if the Pope said it.

I think we need a new word for the two kinds of antisemitism, one that wants the Jews to stop thinking they own Palestine and stick to where they are born and the other, to denote those who want the Jews to leave their countries and move to Israel.

AND there are millions of people in that region who ARE just as white as the next person and have been there for thousands of years. right up to and including saudi arabia.
