Syria September 2015 ~ What's up?

Well if you think I have defamed you, you should be able to point to some evidence of same.
The evidence is your defamatory claim, and your inability or unwillingness to support your claim with a quote.
And reading of your past posts clearly show you have defamed Sunni Muslims. Just because Sunni Muslims area opposed to Assad, that does not make them terrorists as you have repeatedly asserted.
And now even more evidence, because you repeat your defamatory claim that I have asserted Sunnis are terrorists. Again, without even a single quote, despite your claim that I have made made such assertions repeatedly.

By the way, Assads wife is Sunni, and many in the government are Sunni too. So it is completely nonsense to claim that Sunni are opposed to Assad. Some of them are opposed to Assad, some of them are terrorists.
That's why they want NATO protection and US troops within their borders.
They "want" US troops because their politicians are Quislings controlled by the US. As usual in Europe.

You are not being honest and the only one guilty of defamation is you comrade.

Do you have any proof Russia's neighbors are American quislings as you have asserted?

Good news from Syria:
http://www.almasdarnews.com/article...-long-siege-of-the-kuweires-military-airbase/
http://www.almasdarnews.com/article...leppo-after-the-fall-of-the-kuweries-airport/
A three year long siege of the Kuweiris airbase has been broken.

There have been some 300 or so guys there, they have, of course, got support from the air, but, nonetheless, to get this airbase would have been a huge victory for the IS, and they have tried hard to reach it.

Now this siege is over, and this is a real great, significant and considerable victory of the pro-Assad forces. More than yet another small village, but reaching the aim of a whole large operation, a victory which plays also a role in the morals of the fighters, as a symbol.

Could it be that the Russian military is more efficient and effective that the military industrial complex of the Unites States?

With all due respect...Unfair comment IMO.
The Coalition is only taking an air strike aid and degrade, position/strategy due to the need to prevent/minimize civilian causalities where as civilian causalities are of minimal concern to the Russian led offensive.

Every attack by the coalition is measured against the potential for civilian causalities. This is not so for Russian attacks.
The coalition has no mandate for the sort of strategy Russia is employing.
The civilian causalities that Russian air strikes are generating have yet to be assessed and could run into the many thousands. ( as far as I can tell )

One report has suggested up to 448 air strikes in 3 days, and there is no way potential civilian casualties could have been assessed prior to attacks being carried out.

Civilian causalities per air strike?
We do know that the Russians are flying many more sorties than are the USA et.al., so an apples to apples comparison is in order. Have they bombed any dwb hospitals lately?

yes there is much to be upset about...
I think you will find later after the investigation has finished that like many other incidents there will be no explanation available and the crew will be indicted regardless.
Many similar "crazy" "unexplainable" incidents have happened around the world to name only a few:
  • The disappearance of flight MH370 ( determined as pilot suicide due to lack of any other rational explanation)
  • The derailment of a passenger train in Philadelphia earlier this year. (8 killed 200 injured)
  • The tragic German wings A320 disaster ( attributed to co-pilot suicide ) in the French alps
  • Multiple lapses of concentration and memory events locally involving automobiles being run into buildings and groups of pedestrians. (Too many to recount )
  • The inexcusable shooting down of MH17 over the Ukraine
  • The unexplainable radicalization and subsequent behavior by so many towards the ISIL cause.
  • The generally abhorrent, inhuman and much publicized behavior of ISIL towards hostages and the world generally.
  • The massive and "hysterical" evacuation of Syria towards Europe whereby people are collectively so fearful they are prepared to risk the lives of their families and children by drowning to cross the Mediterranean in such numbers. Arriving in Europe knowing that they may freeze to death during climate change European Winter.
  • The recent and ongoing "crazy", more often than not, "knife" attacks in the Palestine Israel region...

How ever, what makes this attack on the hospital in Kunduz event stand out from the others, in my mind, is that this attack craft was manned by a number of personnel and not only in the hands of only one.
  • That the target was well known to be a hospital base ( of some 4 years )
  • That the AC-130 was manned by highly trained special services personnel
  • That witnesses have stated they saw hospital staff being shot at on the ground as they attempted to evacuate the building.
  • That the AC-130 made multiple runs against the target over a 30 minute time span
  • That mobile phone reception was maintained and made use of during the attack. ( so no attempt was made to make this attack covert)
220px-AC-130A_pylon_turn.jpg

In other words there is no way this attack on this building was an accident. ( based on events )
Yet simultaneously one could conclude that there is no way it could have been deliberate. ( As it would take the collusion of all personnel on board to allow it to happen)

That the event was intended to be the subject of intense world wide scrutiny as no attempt to act covertly was made. ( a sick publicity stunt for want of a better phrase)

Are you prepared to determine that the USA deliberately and with full intent attacked this hospital?
I believe personally that this was neither an accident nor a deliberate attack by USA command or the personnel of this AC-130 as I do not believe they had control of themselves or their craft at the time.
I believe that there is much more happening in the ME and around the world than what the modern rational human mind could possibly fathom

A new video has emerged that no doubt is waiting verification etc that actually shows a USA APACHE attack helicopter escorting a large convoy of ISIL vehicles across a border crossing with no attempt to interfere.
Why would they do that do you think?
Perhaps they thought they were outgunned?
Makes no sense to me unless you refer again to my previous post...

Who among our allies has apache attack helicopters?
Perhaps the helicopter belongs to the Saudi Arabia?

......................
As I said earlier,(post 244) it is idiotic to think that our spy satellites and planes could not spot these isil convoys.
(from post 249: "ISIS would be fools to run convoys "------perhaps not so foolish if protected by our allies air power?)
Then, if the USA knows where they are, why are we not targeting them?
What are our leaders playing at?

The video of ISIL convoy itself is really weird IMO.
Why would ISIL want to spend so much resource on so many trucks when those resources could be better spent.
Seems like a terrible over indulgence if you ask me...
so I am inclined to believe the video is an ISIL media stunt any way...possibly merging a number of videos to create this one...

Blitzkrieg via toyota pick-up trucks?
a quick perusal of the maps show isil conquered territory clustering along roadways.

...................
I suspect that the only way that isil can rule the roads is with the tacit approval of the US and allies.

I would suspect that that is exactly what ISIL would want the world to believe...
Playing the foil hat brigade for all it's worth...

What makes you guys think that convoy belongs to ISIS in the first place?
What makes them think that was a helicopter escort by the US or any of its allies?

Having served with a Marine helicopter squadron, a helicopter escort would never fly that low as it becomes a very easy target at that altitude.

Dafuq? Yeah let's just forget about Kobane and Kirkuk, and how Baghdad was weeks away from falling, and all that other jazz that was going on before the US started bombing. ISIS could be wiped out in minutes if the US didn't care about collateral damage, duh. If the US used its military the way Russia does, the middle east would be a depopulated American protectorate at this point.

The only thing Russians seem to understand better than Americans (and especially Europeans) is that winning wars means killing lots and lots and lots of people, including bystanders, and being willing to accept high casualties in return. Even then, if Russia's really hitting 300 targets a day like they say, and to date they've only killed a few hundred, maybe at most 1000 ISIS fighters in total, that's not what a thinking person would call "efficient".
