This is sometimes a good thing to attempt but it is often just not practical. And usually, much more than half of what determines a person's impression of someone is their preconceptions, prejudices, limited perception & whether they are paying attention.
Encountering someone many times & judging them by any 1 time is often (nearly always?) ignorant & stupid & simply not fair.

Equally unfair, however true. Thing is, unless you have an awful lot of inside information and notice, (like an appointment for a job interview) you mostly don't know when, where and under what circumstances you're going to have a first contact with whom.
If you're honest and decent all the time with everyone, every first impression you make will be an accurate one.
