Some private came running up to Shogun and the lieutenant with a newspaper. It read that the Royal Japanese prince was killed when a torpedo impacted his yacht even while under the escort of three Japanese naval corvettes.
We had intercepted news transmissions all over Japan. All civilian ships were banned from venturing farther than a quarter of a mile from the coastline. They were panicing, they could not find this phantom submarine and every plane, ever ship, and every naval frigate they could find was looking for us.
