After the instructor left, Shogun then said,

"Probably to begin our advanced training,"

Shogun then continued,

"Let's all get changed and take a shower first, we will meet up in the courtyard afterward,"

"Yes sir,"

They then took a bus to their quarters.

thanks, the red scare just sounds...cliched, almost like calling me "the red tide".

95% of what I know from subs came from a simulation game called "Dangerous waters", you should really get it its less than 15 dollars. The only way it could be more realistic is if you were on an actual sub. Each platform (4 subs, 2 planes, 1 ship). each platform has around 10 stations that are detailed to the very screws youd see on the real thing. Actually, just download the demo from their site, google "dangerous waters"

Educational video games :D

Back in Algeria:

"So, Otto. Any word on where we'll be deployed next?" "The entire 2nd Army is going to move on Morocco." "Do you know when?" "No. They didnt tell us that."

Out of Game: I am thinking of me and Yamato Squadron getting sent on a mission to Africa sometime soon, to escort a diplomat to your base. What do you think?

OOC: Hey Omega, do you mind if rather than fire the second they detect me they try to capture the sub first? ie. surround it and have weapons ready? I have an interesting idea.

They took off their flight suits and hang them up, ready to be washed. They have two spare flight suits, one in their lockers and one in their quarters for emergencies. They parted to go their individual quarters, which they have all to themselves. He entered his new quarters, it was pretty nice, but it is nowhere as good compared to his home. His belongings were already there. He took out a white T-shirt with the Minamoto Sasarindō on the back, and a pair of blue shorts. He took a shower and changed. By the time he was at the courtyard, his squadron was there waiting for him, they all changed into civilian clothing. Shogun then said,

"Masaru, lead the way, you can drive right?"

Masaru then replied,

"If I can do a cobra turn, I can drive, I also know how to drift,"

Shogun then said,

"You do have a license right?"

Masaru then said smiling,

"No, I do not,"

Shogun laughed and said,

"Neither do I," he turned to the rest of the squadron and asked, "anyone here have a license,"

They all shook their heads. Shogun then said,

"We.....are going to take the bus then,"

We decided to rise to a depth of 150 meters and slow down to 10 knots, we were travelling somewhat north and were planning to scout out some Japanese naval bases. We were told that intelligence officers have been wanting to be able to intercept messages somehow between their bases and somehow our recon was supposed to help....somehow....

Out of Game: You know your air force got problems when you have teenagers that can't get a driver's license flying F/A-22s :D

The fighting was going to begin in a few days. So the entire second army was moved closer to the Moroccan border. "He Sergeant!" "Jah?" "We're moving to the city of Bechar." "What for?" "It's right along the border." "Get the squad ready to move out then." The sound of APCs driving by made a rumbling noise. Otto walked over to the APC his squad was getting into. He looked back at all the rubble and smoke he'd be leaving behind.

I was just relaxing at this point in time, we were in transit for the time being so I wasnt needed right now which was....nice. I went to the mini-sauna, G-d bless the guy who designed the typhoon class I thought to myself, and than I just relaxed for a while.

They got off at a stop near the restaurant. They got a room to themselves. They ate, talked about their clans, their life before joining the air force and their training. They laughed and had a good time. People tend to get close fast when under fire together. They couldn't have alcohol, so they had tea instead.

Out of Game: I saw the pool on discovery channel, the episode about Typhoon-class submarines :D

Meanwhile:

"Captain." "Jah?" "Are Passive Sonar has picked up something." "What is it?" "We believe it's a submarine, sir." "Begin forming a circle." "Aye Captain!" The Wolf Pack began moving into position.

I was called to the bridge, three enemy subs had tried to circle us, they had pretty much finished.

"all stop"-I said

It ws their move...

"Can you send a transmision to them?" "Jah." "Do so now." The heavily accented voice of Captain Richtoffen then said over the radio: "Russian submarine, you are to surrender. Turn on your engines to one third and surface. Do you copy?"

Shogun insisted on paying the bill, he paid it and they decided to spend the rest of the time at Kyoto. They went by a big arcade, there were American soldiers and pilots going in there. Shogun decided to go check it out. When he and his squadron entered it is pretty loud. Shogun asked the owner,

"Is there anything special going on?"

The owner smiled and said,

"We are hosting an Ace Combat 8 tournament here ( I wish there was an Ace Combat 8...),"

Shogun looked baffled, Ayumu then whispered,

"It is a fighter simulation video game,"

He then saw American soldiers watching the tournaments and cheering, the players themselves are in their own isolated rooms. The owner then said,

"Those Americans are very good, they are real air force pilots,"

Shogun smiled and nodded to his men, his men nodded back, they all know what it meant. Shogun then said,

"We would like to enter as well, as a team,"

Shogun paid the entry fee and they all went to their own room. Their consoles is on and the game is already loaded. They got their controllers. Shogun then said after the door was closed,

"Lets show them what Nippon-jin no eesu ( Japanese aces ) can do, we will rule the skies, even in a mere video game,"

They pinged us, not just one sub but all three, they were telling us to come topside, I knew, every submariner knew, theres an unwritten language we speak...

"Captian, what do we do"

"Let me think damnit!"

I started scribbling something down.

"Captain, I can here torpedo tubes flooding"-Sonar officer

"Here, can you take the active sonar and try and communicate using morse code?"-Dimitri

"Aye sir, what do I send?"-Sonar officer

___________________________________________________

The commander aboard the second U-boat got the same message every other u-boat did.

"Sir, it's morse code"-the first officer said scribbling down the message.

"What does it say?"-commander

"Shit!"-first officer

"What is---"-the captain said and than saw the message.

It read:

Germany (12):
-Berlin-Dresden-Hamburg-Munich-Cologne-Frankfurt-Stuttgart-Dusseldorf-Essen-Dortmund-Duisburg-Bochum-

*BREAK*

Japan(14):
-Tokyo-Yokohama-Osaka-Nagoya-Sapporo-Kobe-Kyoto-Fukuoka-Kawasaki-Saitama-Hiroshima-Sendai-Kitakyushu-Chiba-

*END MESSAGE*

"What the f*ck does this mean?!?"-the captain said, but before he could finish his sentance his sonar officer interrupted and shoated "Sir! I can hear it! They've flooded their vertical tubes!"

"What the hell are they doing!"-Captain

"Sir, look"-first officer

"What!"-captain

"There are twenty six cities on this map"-first officer

"Jesus"-captain

"what is it" some crewmember said nervously

"There are twenty six cities on this list....they have 26 thermonuclear ballistic missiles on that boat."-captain

"What does it mean they want?"

"It means "get the f*ck away or we will let them fly""-Captain

"They cant be serious!"-crewmen

The sonar operator interrupted and yelled "Captain, they're opening their vert. tubes!"

"Fuck!!!"
