I request that this thread be closed. It has run its course. The only people still complaining are Tiassa, pjdude1219 and Gustav, and they are merely repeating themselves.

yes lets conclude, these were the conclusions:
1) James has been a fair and restrained admin
2) James is corruptable, bais and (assumingly) human and thus fallible due to human error.
3) The validity of Jame's actions with the banish member will be debatable ad infinitum.

the fact remains that you, an administrator requested it closed. your goon squad will no doubt be rushing in here to comply with your request. as far as i am concerned you shut it down

In the first place, I have a right to respond to Bells' repeated, unsubstantiated, false accusations.
Secondly, as to repeating oneself, perhaps the discussion could move on if people like Bells didn't demand that things be repeated.
I find it very convenient that you should make this "repeating" accusation, given what is on the record.

So tell us: Who's going to hold you accountable? Who's going to give you a twenty-four hour ultimatum that you apologize to me?
You should lay off the histrionics, or else substantiate the idea that someone claims this is "high-minded". This has been a dirty, bloody fight that appears to have inflicted casualties.
I can imagine, to the other, that some would accuse you of shutting down the thread because you and your advocates are performing rather quite poorly, and the sooner you can end the embarrassment, the better.
After all, I was prepared for this to end yesterday, after your prior suggestion of putting this one down for good. But, unfortunately, before that lockdown could occur, someone wished to make yet another round of unsupported accusations, to which I have the right, and felt the need to respond.
At present, I have addressed those most recent falsehoods, and presently have nothing more to add.
If you like, I will lock the thread. However, I do so noting that I would not deny Bells her right to respond to whatever she feels is false. Or, to the other, as moderators have the authority to add posts to this thread after it is locked, I will simply lock it down, and allow her a last word if she is so inclined.
Naturally, James, if you would like to respond to the prior segment of this post, I understand. It is not my intention to actually deny anyone a chance to speak. Write. Post. Yeah. Anyway ....
I will wait about thirty minutes or so for any objections to that latter, and then, barring substantial objection, I will proceed to lock it down.
