Personally, I don't really have much of an opinion on this topic since I don't look at Pornography. Yeah, I'm a straight, adolescent guy, and that's not to say it wouldn't arouse me, but I still think there something wrong about it. (on my part). To me it's kind of insulting, like saying that I couldn't get a girl or something like that.

Like I said, I don't look at it, and don't really care if somebody else does. If it doesn't affect me, then why should I? Now, when it starts to involve gross illegal crimes, then I'll get pissed.

What are your opinions on the subject of pornogophy?

Golden age flicks are decent.

Modern porn is so screwed up I can't even masterbait with it. A lot of stuff they do are really gross that I don't find them erotic at all. (don't want to get into explicit detail). Also sex in porn doesn't emulate sex in real life. For starters a sex scene in porn always end with men having orgasm. That is not how it works in real life :D

Pornography is there for a reason. Because people want it. If people didn't want to look at pictures of naked women (or men), there wouldn't be any porn. But people do like to look a said pictures or watch movies.
I agree that young children shouldn't be exposed to it but teenagers plus should as we all have some urges.
 
I advise against it

Porno is for the people that cannot get laid, no offense. I used to watch porn at a very young age and it polluted my mind and my perspective of women. It's stupid, I'm voicing my opinion.

Alot of people look at porn and there are lots of better things to do than that.

Aside from that, looking at too much porn can seriously damage your image of women and what turns you on.

A friend of mine I knew, he was very old, married. He told me all about porn and how bad it is. Trust me, it is bad.

A man is married and looks at porno constantly. When him and his wife have sex, he can't get an erection because of how "imperfect" his wife is compared to all that porno shit. Now that's very pathetic. Do you know how emotionally damaged that man's wife is? Everytime they have sex, he needs to look at a naked picture of Pamela Anderson to achieve an erection. You can tell their relationship did not last, the wife was badly hurt, deep inside her.

So try to resist your urges, once you do, your on your way to handling women better instead of looking at them as only sex objects.

I agree entirely with your post. Very informative. I never really believed the problem lied with the people in the porn, but how we saw it. Sad Story. I'm pretty surprised though, at what porn did to that guy. He must have watched ALOT of it.

Sometimes, I've actually been tempted to visit those websites, but my self control......controls me from doing so. Porno's been around for along time now, and I'd doubt it will ever completely vanish. But we should all learn to have more respect for OURSELVES.

Seems a rather narrow view, but perhaps that will change as you grow older. The Fish and Mrs. Fish have been married for 20 years, and we are very close. We watch adult films together, and are suffering from no mental traumas.

Does watching horror movies turn you into a chainsaw wielding maniac? If watching pornography causes a change in the way that a man perceives women, I would argue that there is emotional immaturity or instability that is already present, and is merely brought to the surface by viewing adult oriented films.
