Osama Bin Laden is Dead

AJ may be loopy, but that doesn't mean he's always wrong.
Listen to what the Techie said, and then comment.
He said that the document was photoshopped.
Techies never lie about computers. Not unless their mothers have been kidnapped.

The Techie took the document directly from the government website, saved it, and then showed that it was layered.
Unless there was some deliberate fraud by AJ's people, and that document did not come from the US website,
then the document has been photoshopped.

If it is genuinely from the Government site, other people will have it.

Fox news says (surprise!) that all of this talk of forgery and layers is nonsense.

The doubters have latched onto the idea that Adobe Illustrator — the premier program for computer graphic artists — “reveals” evidence of document manipulation in the Obama birth certificate. They note Illustrator reveals nine separate layers of the document, and claim it’s “proof” the file has been altered.

But that’s not so, says Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator.

“You should not be so suspicious about this,” Tremblay told FoxNews.com, dismissing the allegations.

He said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software — not evidence of a forgery. “I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippings—and it looks exactly like this,” he said.

Tremblay explained that the scanner optical character recognition (OCR) software attempts to translate characters or words in a photograph into text. He said the layers cited by the doubters shows that software at work – and nothing more.

Remember, that's Fox saying that. The voice of the opposition, and the preferred news network of the loud and the red faced. The network of the tea partiers, Glen Back, Bill O'Reilly, and to prove that they are equal opportunity employers, Sean Hannity. If there were any chance that document were forged, they would be on it like flies on shit.

I don't give a rat's ass about what some guy on YouTube has to say about the subject.

And further: Obama is the POTUS. He has resources at his command that us mere mortals could only dream about. If he were going to forge a document, it would be flawless. If would not have imperfections readily detectable by myopic, mouth breathing, basement dwelling neckbeards.

SAM is the balance.
I can accept this. There is way too much truth floating around Sci without any balance...

American CNN and the average Sciforums opinion are distorted and conform to the moderate form of consensus Western disinformation.
And you know this how? Because your "Opinion are distorted and conform to the moderate form of consensus Eastern disinformation"?

she is not more distorted than the median centermost opinion at Sciforums or American CNN.
Really? Please do compare and contrast...

Interestingly International CNN is much more balance and more intellectual than Amercan CNN.
Interesting. Perhaps that's why I prefer International CNN. It seems to make "more sense".

Please...

Sciforums members with opinions somewhat in line with the Fox audience are considerably less Fair and Balanced than SAM is but they don't how unbalanced they are because they live within a fairytale.
Perhaps. A lot of Sci members live in a fairytale in my opinion. So?

Bullying the world into submission was exactly what many of the PNAC signers believed was the intelligent thing for the USA to do while the USA had the short window of opportunity to do so with the fall of the Soviet Union but still before China or some other nation replaced the Soviet Union. It was the Unipolar moment when the world normally is politically bipolar.
What? I already ate my evening salad... I have no idea what you are trying to convey here. Try again...

Agreed.

After reading 49 pages of conspiracy theories and USA bashing I've only got one thing to say,"Osama's dead, deal with it."

Hell Libya gives weapons to Al Qaeda, so does Iran, why did we not invade those countries? Invading Iraq was not worth the trillion dollars (and anyone that says otherwise should no longer have a right to complain about US debt) or the lives simply because Iraq like just about every other arab countries has some kind of tie to Al Qaeda.

We should invade Libya. Iran would be more difficult, although that regime deserves to be toppled as well.

So even Osama daughter, under Pakistani detention admits the Osama was killed and says she saw it with here own eyes. So I says anyone that does not believe is not being skeptical but being denialist.

I'm as skeptical of the source of that article as you are of the source of many of the places that publish contrary information. Why no author? Associated Press. . . yeah, w/e. They sit in on CFR and Bilderburg meetings.
The MEDIA IS THE ENEMY

Oh please. Saddam was always threatening to kill people and their family, ha! Its like Stalin's paranoia, it wasn't a good day if someone wasn't threatened with death for sneezing or serving his soup a tad bit cold. Having parts is not the same as having WMD which is what was claimed.
I'm not arguing about Bush's claims. I was like you not too long ago. Actually when we invaded I was in favor of it. Then when it appeared that Bush was messing things up so royally, I was against it. I'm still against Bush for many, many reasons, I'm a liberal Democrat. Then I saw Christopher Hitchens debate George Galloway on the subject and he changed my mind.

Ok. I'm going to watch this now. What we disagree about is when radical islam began to turn its ugly head not 'if'. My point is religious radicalism found fertile soil AFTER Saddam was ousted not before. In short it came on the heels of chaos and porous borders after the US went in.

The question is also would a cornered Saddam seek allies with radical Islam whether we invaded or not. It's not like he was someone anyone could trust.

It's not my responsibility to get you up to date on commonly known facts, but here:

Yeah, it's a commonly known fact all right. Commonly known to be in all likely hood be forgery by the Army at Fort Bragg! lol This is why you are so easily suckered into believing this "story" in the first place. Do you know that if you do a search, you would have a hard time even FINDING this footage now? Nobody cares to see forgeries that much, except maybe to make fun of them. When the CIA and media admit to making fakes, the jig is up.
CIA Admit Faking Binladen Video
bin laden admits 911 ? judge for yourself.
And a counter-point of view, but still discriminating, since it still does give us lots of good info, like the fact that even Walter Cronkite knew that the latter videos from OBL were bullshit. Were they CIA? US Army? M16, ISI or Mossad? Who knows, who cares. Point is, no, OBL never admitted to doing the deed. Only actors on forgeries did.
CIA Admits Faking Bin Laden Videos: A Bald-faced Lie
Why should we believe them when this is what they give us? :bugeye:
Anyone who believes that fat man who is twenty years younger than OBL is actually him, I can certainly understand why they believe everything they are told w/o question. They don't even believe their own damn eyes.

So, everyone is comfortable with any country unilaterally sending assassination teams into any other country to eliminate "enemy combatants" with kill teams?

This is acceptable? The Dalai Lama had better watch out, there are countries out there where he is considered an enemy combatant. And unarmed old men can now be executed with a shot to the head and its all legal. No evidence required, no due process necessary to provide culpability - no need to even provide a body. You could just...disappear and it would all be legal.

Well its hard to tell. If the US had simply focused on Afghanistan he may have fell so out of the loop he would have been of little concern. Its a hard call to make but I have another hour of the Hitchens debate so I am still listening to his argument and will post something after.

You are trying to make false comparisons SAM. One, this enemy combatant has killed thousands of innocent individuals not on the battle field but in public places.

Two, the Dalai Lama is not a terrorist nor is he in anyway violent. The Dali Lama is a man of peace. So equating the Dalai Lama to Bin Ladin is really an insult to Buddhism. You have gone too far SAM.

The beauty of the system is what other people think or what the evidence says is completely irrelevant. All you need is for the assassinating country to consider him a credible threat without providing any evidence why this is so. Its completely arbitrary

China for example could consider the "myth" of the Dalai Lama as an incitement for Tibetans who riot and commit terrorist acts. They might want to avoid a shrine by his followers. They could feel that Americans do not understand how he motivates religious groups that obey his archaic religion into acting against the Chinese. etc etc

All you need is a "feeling" - nothing more. No evidence no justification no body

Of course, the blowback to this theory is ever since Jesus people have failed to recognise that killing a man does not kill his ideology. Still if the Dalai Lama wakes up to the business end of a gun held by Chinese secret agents - I doubt if such considerations will cross his mind.

It just occurred to me that the US has adopted the Israeli way - eliminating political targets with extrajudicial assassinations. That is truly ironic.

Isn't that the definition of war? And no, I'm not comfortable any country doing that. I can think of a few countries from whom this behavior would be quite alarming, and perhaps be cause to kill them in return.
