Osama Bin Laden is Dead

No. Apart from Ender's Game, the rest of the series is crap. And yes, I've read multiple of them.

The only other necessary Card book is Treason. If you still can't get enough, try out the Alvin Maker series. But that's really about it; everything else is diminishing returns.

I enjoyed 'The Deep'.

For our own safety, in prudence, we should ensure that the people in control of the starting of wars should bear some personal and immediate cost, have some skin in the game.

It's ultimately up to the US electorate to select leaders who won't screw them over.
And one way to do that is to ensure that their fates are tied to ours - say, that wars are going to cost them money and risk, just as they cost us.

And that money/risk should be the jobs they lose if they gain a reputation for cheating the voters. You'll scare a lot of well-meaning politicians off if the punishment for a bad foreign policy decision involves losing an arm or their homes or whatever.

The official bureaucratic documentation. According to the system, he's dead. But then again, according to the system, in reading this? He never had squat to do with 9/11. No legal shit was needed to be dropped due to his death. This leaked and secret document was found at Cryptome.

Hey, I enjoy "The Deep" also :D

Wasn't this thing about Bin Laden all brought to a head with US intelligence and phone tapping of the courier's phone - there was a link there to the original sting iirc. Pretty simple how they got this done yet amazing how it all took so long?

Was the political timing correct? Right about now would have been better for Obama, no? Call me a skeptic but this sort of play has been going on and on. Kind of get one a bit jaded after a while. Anyway - back to astrophysics where I may now have some more scholarly thoughts to interject after a long sojourn at a major UK energy project.

Ciao
