Love Lost But Not Forgotten "Self-Titled"
Love Lost But Not Forgotten "Upon the Right I Saw a New Misery"

That's in reverse order. The self-titled is waiting for me to return to my car from class.

I was also listening to Curl Up And Die a few mins ago.
Now I'm listening to At The Gates "With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness"

sound to die for

massive attack - no protection

Kick me down is all I hear now adays
Break me off you can say it in a thousand ways
Give me this, give me that as if you feel angry
Lyin' to kick it just to smoke up all my weed
Drinkin my brew and gettin drunker than me
Tell me what is it that you wantin from me
Aint nothin free I had to work to get whats comin to me
Open your eyes and realize that this is somethin' to see

Hey gang… if you are not taking the opportunity to try out different artists that are listed here, you’re missing out. That was the original intent of this thread: to expose us to music we might not otherwise hear about. I have picked up numerous CDs as a direct result of reading here. Thanks, and keep ‘em coming!

:m: Peace.

Basement jaxx feat dizzie rascal "Lucky star"
infact you might aswell get the jaxx new album "kish kash"

...and whilst you're at it, might aswell pick up the mercury award winning debut album "Boy in the corner" by dizzie rascal

pukka.

Kylie's new album "body language" pure unadulterated pop lovelyness.
The single "Slow" has got to be one of the sexiest tracks of all time.

Fans of coldplay, I urge you to buy the album "cast of thousands" by Elbow
Beautifuly crafted, deep, lush sounding tracks.

Class.

pukka is a word which is "hip" (well it was) amongst the kids/trendies in England.
Derived from the hindi and punjabi word "Pukka"

traditional meaning of pukka is basically "solid" or to strengthen something (really hard translating desi to English)

so it kind of found itself into youth culture/lingo, now meaning good, sorted etc...

Very common amongst cockney Londoners.

"that food was pukka mate"

"like my car? pukka ain't it?"

"he's a pukka geezer"

etc.....

Kylies finished, its all about Delta these days.
In fact I think it will be about delta for a while, and she will be popular for her true talent rather than her sweet can, which she does, as a bonus, also happen to possess.

Er ....

I just had a session that would leave the RIAA apoplectic. Etta James, Jimmy Reed, Mississippi John Hurt, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Susan Tedeschi, Lucinda Williams, BB King, Albert King, Sarah Vaughan, Buddy Guy, Chuck Berry, Sam & Dave, Spencer Davis Group, Fabulous Thunderbirds, John Lee Hooker, Aretha Franklin, Billie Holliday, Lightnin' Hopkins, Z.Z. Hill, Jean-Jacques Milteau, Shemekia Copeland and the Reverend Billy C. Wirtz. What I failed to find, though, was Nolan Strock, Pine Top Perkins or ... or ... damn. I only missed on two.

Can you tell I was in a mood?

Sssssmokin'. But Emma Grace really likes it bluesy.

But there's gotta be a CD for the road in there somewhere.

:m: - groove on

The Market was formed in New Iorque, composition for Peggy Jameson (vocal), Adam King (keyboards), DJ Jimmy Connelly and Phil Painson (sound engineer).

the above is a systran translation. the band seems to have vanished off the web. released a trip hop album and broke up in 99. they kicked ass!

oh well. let em live on in sciforums

*fortunately the mp3 were on napster.
*perhaps that why they broke up. guys like me ripped em off!

:(
