Not Acknowledging the Theory of Evolution

Since "puncuated equilibrium" (rapid morhping) supposedly occurs, why can't scientists induce punctuated equilibrium to cause a bacteria to change into a fish?

And in thousands of years, why has no one witnessed punctuated equilibrium in nature?

IAC, as we continue to improve technology in the lab, and as we continue to find more fossils, evolution to continues to be proven more and more true.

How do you know? Did you make those stats up?

I'm sure 90% of the world thought the world was flat as well at one point.

Yeah its lot easier, when you have the technology (boats, satellites, cameras) to do so.

Years ago there were probably a minority of people arguing that the world was round, and were being laughed at. "The world is round? LOLLL!!! Just look outside, of course its flat!!!"

Saint Augustine (354–430) argued against assuming people inhabited the antipodes (or that the earth was round):

"But as to the fable that there are Antipodes, that is to say, men on the opposite side of the earth, where the sun rises when it sets to us, men who walk with their feet opposite ours, that is on no ground credible. And, indeed, it is not affirmed that this has been learned by historical knowledge, but by scientific conjecture, on the ground that the earth is suspended within the concavity of the sky, and that it has as much room on the one side of it as on the other: hence they say that the part which is beneath must also be inhabited. But they do not remark that, although it be supposed or scientifically demonstrated that the world is of a round and spherical form, yet it does not follow that the other side of the earth is bare of water; nor even, though it be bare, does it immediately follow that it is peopled."

Saint Augustine was wrong about the earth being flat. Maybe he can go two for two with evolution? :D

Actually I found a survey from an independant surveyor which found that 83% of the world fully supports Darwinian evolution.

Another survey stated that a mere 12% of the world supports a "young earth" theory.

Nice try IAC.

Maybe, but three quarters of the world thinks it's B.S., so you've got alot of work to do, even though the Darwinists control the public schools.
If true you're merely using an Argument from Consensus.
Very poor.

Provide alternative scientific theory that fits the evidence, please.

The fact that you ask such an inherently stupid question reveals that you know nothing about anything.
And in thousands of years, why has no one witnessed punctuated equilibrium in nature?
I've observed it in the fossil record, which last time I looked was to be found in nature.

The truth will win out, right NDS?

Well, everyone eventually figured out that the earth was round, right? And Christianity adapted to it and continued on.

The same thing will happen here. Evolution will be proven to be true and Christianity will adapt to it and continue on.

In fact, it has already begun:

"On the 12 August 1950, the Roman Catholic Church accepted that the ‘doctrine of evolution’ was a valid scientific inquiry, stated by Pope Pius XII in the encyclical Humani Generis."

"In 1996 Pope John Paul II gave a message to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in which he said 'Today, almost half a century after publication of the encyclical, new knowledge has led to the recognition of the theory of evolution as more than a hypothesis.'"

IAC, why are you so vigilent in your thinking that evolution immediately dissproves a God?

Also, why did God have to rest on the seventh day? Was he tired?

Darwinian. Simple to complex. Which is actually your kind of evolution as well, you just don't it.
