ill satisfy for the rock.

so if an earthquake manages to destroy it, that will mean GOD is angry at the muslims?

It was built by the Saudis, I'm sure they can rebuild it. :p

Wow, I didn't know it was hollow.

Yeah, its a representation of the house that Abraham is said to have built there.

There is a Muqaam-e-Ibrahim where people pray two rakats for Abraham. And Safa and Marwah where Hajar searched for water (although some people say Safa is the camel that gave a lot of milk or the tree that gave many dates and Marwah the stone where an animal was slaughtered). Nothing over there has any associations with Mohammed, did you know?

you wanna convert to islam? ;)
When I was younger, the four wives was tempting. ;)

Anyone know their legal status if all five move to the US? For example, can you (the man) claim all four as tax deductions as you are supporting them all, etc. Does the IRS have some hidden Married tax rate tables? (two wives, three wives, four wives columns)? What about primary Muslim countries - does man with four wives get bigger "married deduction" than man with only one? If after living with wife #1 one in the US for more than 10 years and then you divorce her, can she get sum equal to half your social security income when eligible by age? Can that be repeated for wife #2?

(If American man has been married to two different women, at different times of course, but for at least 10 years with each, they both can get sum equal to half his SS income when eligible by age (and he still keeps 100% of it.)

SAM: how is the case of multiple wives in India's Muslim population treated in the law?

One of my daughters was married for about 9.5 years to man with generous "6 figures income" and I told her to live separtely and drag out the divorce if you need to until the marriage is 10.1 years old as some day that SS income may be valuable (She was a "stay at home" mom by his insistence. - It looked bad for a man in his position if his wife worked he thought. She is very smart and attractive. I once heard him refer to her as his "trophy wife.")

An accidental explosion was to blame for the deaths of two Palestinian militants at a training facility in Gaza City, Hamas officials have said.

Hamas had initially blamed an Israeli air strike for the blast.

Palestinian medics said the two had mishandled explosives. Hamas said they died performing their jihadi duty.

5 Palestinian smugglers injured in tunnel collapse

Tunnel linking Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip to Egypt collapses, nearly suffocating four Palestinians and trapping another under rubble

A smuggler's tunnel linking the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip to Egypt collapsed on Friday, nearly suffocating four Palestinians and trapping another under rubble, Egyptian and Hamas officials said.

The Palestinians were trying to hollow out a recently sealed tunnel, located some 10 meters (33 feet) below ground, when its vulnerable sandy ceiling crumbled under its own weight, the officials said.

they were just smuggling some teddy bears for the peace effort :D

If the purpose of your post was only to celebrate deaths of Hamas fighters and Palestinian confinement, I've got nothing to add. Especially on the first two links: Explosives are obviously unforgiving of carelessness, and indifferent to ideology.

On the third link:"they were just smuggling some teddy bears for the peace effort"

That's speculation on your part, Spock. The whole issue of Eqyptian cooperation in Israeli isolation of Gaza involves all kinds of smuggling issues, and it's not only about weapons.

On the "poisonous gas" allegation, it would have been more informative for the article to mention in that context that RDX, HMX, TNT, and most common explosive agents do inter hazardous gases. I'm curious what warning and tamping steps Egypt takes involving the Gaza side of discovered tunnels, before blowing them. There's obviously a lot that goes on behind the scenes between Israel, Egypt, and the USA involving this border, and it would be interesting to know more.

Here's a recent report to the US Congress (pdf) that provides a more detailed outline of Gaza-Egypt border issues than usually found in the press.

dont be like that, just read exactly what it says-they blamed israel first, and after they investigated they found out it was their own fault.

and yes, i have no sympathy for dead hamas fighters. why should i have?

Mr. Spock: "they blamed israel first"

Which was self-insult to self-injury.

"i have no sympathy for dead hamas fighters. why should i have?"

Under better circumstances, these would very likely have done something more productive with their lives. Compassion improves the circumstances.

you're one of those bleeding heart people are you...

When I am, I think it's really mostly out of pragmatism. Don't knock it, until you've tried it.
Why should he? Intense, thought-paralyzing* hate is sooo much more satisfying.
