Mind if I cut in? Pashley; You are very rude, and have no sense of debate. The whole point is to discuss things, not act like a spoiled brat. I personally believe that there was more than one 'god' at work so long ago. Z Sitchen (?) has a pretty good theory worked out, backed by ancient Sumerian text. Not to mention all those pesky books that the church "fathers" decided to throw out. The Bible was a committe project. The "REAL" Bible is at least 2 -3 times bigger. What really caught me to this was the begining, the discussion about Pharoah - God hardened the heart of Pharoah. Christians always want to pick and choose which parts are literal and which parts analagy. And if you look at the conception of Jesus, you will find that it fits with alien abduction/impregnation. Not only that but in several painting of Mary w/baby you will see the UFO in the sky behind her.
I really don't know what the truth is, but I do know that there is enough circumstantial evidence out there to prove that Stichen is on the right path. IF you are willing to challenge what you think you KNOW.
