It's not that you "posture as some enlightened being."
It's that remaining calm and reasonable around someone who has "troll", "fucker", "boneheaded" and the like at the tip of his tongue (ie. you) is too much of a challenge for most people here and in general.
Perhaps Gendanken and a few others can keep up with you, but as you can see, most cannot and instead don't think all that favorably about you.
