It is always dark, Light is an illusion and not a thing!

Why don't plants point towards radio wave sources?
Is EM radiation a thing?
How do you know that? Did you ask a plant?
Em radiation is a thing, why do plants point towards ''radio waves''? EM wave sources, they point towards the magnitude direction to ensure maximum coverage of light on themselves.

Did I ask a plant? No lol, I am pretty sure the last time I looked plants did not have eyes or a brain, a plant has no mechanism to see a light and dark state, they may have some ability to sense that it is day, but they can not see that it is ''light''.

Plants exist because of EM radiation, they point towards the nearest energy source, like you said plants do not have a mind, relative to the plant , the plant can not see, the plant does not see light, the plant senses EM radiation.
Just as we sense EM radiation. Our senses are a bit more advanced.
As far as the plant is concerned it is never light and always dark relative to the plant.
Oh, as far as a plant is concerned, it will know very quickly if it's always dark - because it will be dead.

We know what is either there or not there, I don't know is not really true words, because we do know by the only logical two options, we know from experience.
"I don't know" are often "quite true words." (And BTW, that's still incorrect. Often the state of something in a box will be indeterminate and will only collapse to one of two states when you observe it. Heisenberg again.)

How does an instrument know it is seeing colour?
By measuring its wavelength.
I agree an instrument can detect a difference in levels of energy and frequency, but an instrument certainly can not have the ability to perceive this as colour ?
The instrument can detect different colors of light. Therefore color exists. No one said anything about how machines "perceive" it. They just measure it.

Is light EM radiation? Yes or no will do for an answer.

The question was why DON'T plants grow towards radio waves. Do you know the answer?

How does color photographic film developing work? Do you know the answer?
Is light EM radiation? No it is a state that we perceive to be light by use of EM radiation.

Sorry I misread the question, radio waves are not static I presume so direction is of a variance. But truthfully I have no idea.

Photo film developing I can only presume that is is based on radiation burn, but again in honestly not sure.

not quite true , yes the device detects the wavelength by measurement, but the device does not know it is a colour, colour is a state of Em radiation acting with matter, a state that we perceive to be colour by our sight and brains detecting the difference in spectral frequencies/different magnitude of EM radiation interacting with matter.
Without the Sun and EM radiation , everything is colourless. Colour only exists by the ''light'' and our brains perceiving it to be colour.

I am not sure if I mentioned this, but all matter is mirrored in dark space by the light, from all objects there is emitted, through the Em radiation , a complete invisible hologram of itself through space.

You can not see this unless by motion blur or even has simple as watery eyes, but I assure you that this is how an image gets from an object to a mirror.

Yes, it is, by definition.

This would be a good opportunity to learn, then. Let's hope you don't decide that darkness causes film to develop or something.
I know the present definition says EM radiation is light, I have been debating for ages and saying light is a state and it is not light ever.

Color is a characteristic of some EM radiation. This can be measured. The device does not need to "know" what a color is, any more than a scale needs to "know" what a pound is.

Hmm. I can see colors at night, so that's clearly inaccurate as well.

This is woo.

This is also woo.

You think it is woo, it is actually true if you consider it. The device that measures the wave does not see any colour, we define the colour, we give it a name, to the device it is just a different energy level passing through it.

You can see colours at night because there is EM radiation present still, the less intensity the less the colour shows, it becomes dark.

That's like saying scales cannot weigh things, because only we can call it "weight." Nonsense.

You can see colors at night because light is present, and we see via reflected light.

You see via EM radiation, reflective and absorbing properties of matter, and by this interaction your brain/eyes, remotely sense the change in the environment of space. Turning a dimmer switch down is like turning your brain down of Neural activity by the EM radiation , like failing batteries in a night vision device.

The dark space then has a whole new look, because by slowly decreasing the intensity of energy output from the ''light'' source, dark space becomes translucent like, the brains Neural activity lowers, the brain in affect darkens with the decrease.

Remotely and passively, yes.

No, actually. Over a very wide range your eye and brain compensate for lower levels of light, so it's nothing like just turning down a dimmer.

Woo.
