In well lit space we can see.
Adding light to dark space makes it into light space.
Conclusion- you cannot see in the dark.
That's not what empty means.
I know empty is not occupied, but in the dark space without light , you can not see there is anything there so you could only presume empty until you could see. Seeing an object is the evidence required to see that the space is not empty, if you can not see that the space is empty you can conclude the space is either empty or contains matter, that is the only 2 logical options.
Example - a multi-verse , you have visual limitations, but the knowledge we know suggests without a doubt that beyond our visual limitations there is matter.
No. You could feel around to see if there's anything. Or use any number of artificial devices to determine what's there (sonar, radar, IR camera etc.) "Empty" means "empty." If you couldn't see you could reasonably say "I don't know what's in there" but you could not say it was empty (of any given level of anything) until you could examine it.

I don't know means the same thing, if you can not see what is there, you do not know what is there, the only two logical options are then the volume is empty, or the volume contains matter.
We know what is either there or not there, I don't know is not really true words, because we do know by the only logical two options, we know from experience.

It makes sense to me, Dark space always exists, and light is a state created by the brain. That does not make a statement of saying EM radiation does not exist, the EM radiation waves is the energy that you brain converts into pictures and gives the impression of light , the particular condition that someone is in at a specific time.
Consideration that when we shut our eyes our brain is in the dark and when we open our eyes our brain is then in the light as such.
Our brains decoding information by means of energy entering our eyes does not mean that light is a thing in itself, light could be very well just a state created by our brains and perceived to be light.
Earlier in this thread I explained night vision, night vision is seeing in the dark, so if you consider that when adding light to dark space, we then have the ability to see in dark space, it is no different to seeing in the dark and having night vision.
No matter what you title this little "theory" of yours it'll still be wrong, silly and stupid.
Dark space being a thing, dark space has dimensions. Dark space is the natural state, stars are made, dark space is not.
I agree after 41 years on the planet my idea sounds stupid and silly to me, but when considering the idea objectively, the idea really is not that silly.

It depends on how you define thing, I consider a process to be a thing, dark and light are a state and process of the mind, but also dark space always exists relative to us.

Plants exist because of EM radiation, they point towards the nearest energy source, like you said plants do not have a mind, relative to the plant , the plant can not see, the plant does not see light, the plant senses EM radiation.Really? This silliness has gone on long enough...

As far as the plant is concerned it is never light and always dark relative to the plant.
