If there is no God ...

Buddha was still a philosopher.

But, Mohammad was then a liar.

And Paul was a liar (or more likely pure nuts) too.

Joseph Smith Jr. was also liar.

Ron Hubbard still might not be a liar (I mean Xenu is an Alien not one of the Gods)

Seems to be that there are no Gods.

I fail to see what's so hard about connecting the dots?

Unlike you, some people have trouble accepting that tentative statement + tentative statement = certainty.

The main tentative statement in the 1st place is that there might be gods. Then there's the tentative statement that 1 or more are good. Then there's the tentative statement that there is life for us after death.
And so on & on & on & on ... ... ... ...

So you can swallow all powerful gods that nobody can find, but proposing that such things are stupid is beyond your capacity?

Life would be much worse with gods than without.

with god you can live forever..without you'll die someday and......zero..

of course for the unbelievers of the god who might exist they could get tortured forever..in which zero is a lot much better..

i'm writing about that..it'll knock you off!!:D

(if it didn't go to the cesspool first:mad:)

With God your death will be evolution to a new state of consciousness, with God you will experience everything God is death after death, rebirth after rebirth.

You dont have to look far, swarm. You are part of a God, feel the skin, the breath, feel the life in body you harbor.

what about when a person humiliates you..do you feel like god then too??

or when you need a potty-break?:D

Scifes I am not God, I am part of God. So are you. The more I am, the more I experience the more I am God. Humiliation is a lesson and so is pain and it is a step in life we take, even if it seems God would not want pain for himself, that is untrue. It is a balance between pain and pleasure. No extremes of heaven or hell. A balance in a human that are God of themselves.

Natural things are just as steps of life as everything else ... in order to understand everything that there is and appreciate the beauty of every part of the worlds' creation. From flower to a rock to dirt and unto the sky above us.

perfect!

The more I am, the more I experience the more I am God.
Deep and real;

to understand, then you can create life and live within that gift (all of your choice)

Humiliation is a lesson
Self humility is by self reflection. To be humiliated, then a predeterminations was affected; remove the self imposed requisite and no humiliation

and so is pain and it is a step in life we take, even if it seems God would not want pain for himself, that is untrue. It is a balance between pain and pleasure. No extremes of heaven or hell. A balance in a human that are God of themselves.
Feelings are of self (not stating of good or bad), where-as to experience 'the time', then bliss without pre-existing needs, wants, predeterminations; godhead.

Natural things are just as steps of life as everything else ... in order to understand everything that there is and appreciate the beauty of every part of the worlds' creation. From flower to a rock to dirt and unto the sky above us.

looks like a straight answer

way to go dragon

p/s.... to believe God is separate, then see how mankind 'left the garden'....

to know God as "all that is", then you learning from Him directly every moment you experience

i see it as a no brainer!

Yes, but then, anybody can be that.

The term liar implies intent. Those people may have deluded themselves.

Ron Hubbard still might not be a liar (I mean Xenu is an Alien not one of the Gods)

OTOH, he almost certainly is .

I fail to see how that follows from your premises.

That does not follow. While most theistic religions do offer some form of eternal life, it is not a necessity.

And, as Buddhism shows, a form of eternal life may exist without a god.

mmmmmm......

i'm sure i'll understand more of what you and bishadi are talking about..as till now you're both confusing me..

Who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death...
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?

Face it kid, if God exists we're still all going to die. Chances are, painfully and alone.

We will not be 'resurrected' like Jesus. Instead, a wispy and hitherto unapparent part of us will float away to an invisible kingdom for judgement, reward and punishment. And as we don't have nerves anymore, how exactly are we meant to experience pleasure or pain?

They're such human concepts though aren't they - morality, judgement, good and evil. In Nature we only see survival of the fittest, or else complete indifference. So is this our 'touch of the divine' or the touch we can't help giving back?

That is the promise of only one kind of God. There are numerous other Gods that you must also disbelieve in, so you are screwed anyway.
