I am an alien

Sky Man, have you reported to Immigration Control? It's important, and you'll regret it later if you don't.

You come here to our planet taking our jobs, why don't you just **** off back to where you came from.

[Well I had to state the statement that is obviously stereotypically used in similar situations :p ]

Keith, can't you just PM ET? What you mean?

P.S. Love your new avatar.

My message was not for that precise alien, because of it's color-blind state;)
Loose translation: Five horses crapped this OP to Cesspool.

No comprendo, amigo.
Los extranjeros pueden haber evolucionado más allá de nuestra comprensión de su ubicación exacta.
Aliens may have evolved beyond our comprehension of their exact location.
:blbl:

seriously for a moment:
I know an elderly, articulate and quite sane lady [ 89 years old ] who has kept a journal for over 30 years believing that she is indeed an alien from the Pleiadian cluster. She has been a family friend for over 40 years and I have no doubt she believes her experiences as genuine. She also knows that no one would believe her and has kept the secret to her self and very select friends for over 30 years.
How many people are like this?
I personally know of about 4 or so with various levels of commitment to their beliefs. [ all associate with the Pleidian cluster, all unaware of each other]

So, there are two aliens. I also want to see your planet. That’s not fair Skyman, you have to tell us what are you doing here?

If she believes she is an alien then she is delusional and by definition not sane. You can say she is fully capable of successfully functioning in life - but she ain't 'quite sane'!

Why does it not surprise me that you would know 4 delusional people that are perfectly willing to share there delusions with you?

Firstly, delusions do not qualify for the label insane...
it is not a matter of belief that determines the question of mental health... you should know this but you don't so who exactly is deluded here?
Secondly, by your own definition that makes you quite insane due to your own deluded state.
Now why aren't I surprised about that?
To quote from a famous movie:
"Stupid is what stupid does"
well... same applies
"insane is what insane does"

the lady in question has led a successful business life , raised 5 beautiful children, and is an extremely talented young 90 year old...
who woke up one day about 30 years ago and realised she was an alien of this planet but not to the human race. eh...wtf!...... I hear you say!?

Fair enough. She certainly is not leagally insane based on your description of her.

So lets just say:

If she believes she is an alien then she is delusional. You say she is fully capable of successfully functioning in life - so her delusions are not negatively impacting her life, that's good.

This part of course still stands as is [chortle] - Why does it not surprise me that you would know 4 delusional people that are perfectly willing to share there delusions with you?

let me ask you this:
Do you believe you know enough to make such an assessment?
Do you believe that your science is capable of making such an assessment?

and to support the obvious implications:
to you the scientist:
Do you believe in the existance of a photon as modeled by science when a photon can only be observed by it's effect?
to you the religious nut:
Do you believe in the existance of a God as modeled by the Church when a God can only be observed by his effect?
So according to your logic any one who believes in a photon is deluded... sure they function....[chuckle]

so the religious person and the scientist believe in the same thing by a different name...so?
In my lingo there is a new word:
it is written as OPIGION.
which is essentially defined as :
"an opinion expressed in ignorance."

which accounts for just about all opinions...
so why am I not distressed by your [chortle ] Opigion?
