How can a poster know what will be deemed as pornography?

What Rob neglects to post is my response to his Pm in the OP.

The rules are pretty clear we moderators can't moderate every link and if we find one against site policy like a pornographic link it can be removed, a warning can be given and even sometimes a ban depending on the history of the person in question.

What has happened in your case is an escalation caused by events within the forum that might or might not have lead to certain bias in conduct, like I have stated though we can't fault those that made the mistake* because if you look at the overall picture in regards to some of your statements and activities, tallied with those statements of other members here, it caused alarm.

The "mistake" in question was meant in relationship of auto-banning a posed new user for sharing Rob's IP address.

Seriously Rob if you want to climb up on a cross and expose yourself, your just going to get yourself burnt at the stake. (There is nothing like mutating metaphors) I'd suggest very carefully considering taking a break from the forums for a bit, as your obviously coming across a particular way and no matter how you argue it, it's not being perceived well. If you don't take that break on your own, then it's likely that we'll have to eject you from the forum completely. (The only reason we haven't done so straight away is we like to think a person can actually be wrongly interpreted on occasion, however it doesn't bode well for you "friend".)

When it comes to quoting contents of PMs I tread very gingerly Stryder, so that was good of you to offer the other half to our very limited communication.

So is that our letter out in full is it? I've got work again next week so there will be a break coming up. My final reply to you could be added too.

Thanks Stryder,

I appreciate what you say. From a poster's point of view, I wish the sex of a member was made clear from the beginning. That would save problems.
There have always been posters being "nice" to the other sexes, you will never stop it.

The Beautiful Christian Songs thread is looking into the science of belief in God. It might become a "new religion" but that will be secondary to me telling the forum how I discovered God in my life and to see if and how it can be proven scientifically. They all say it can't be done but we have had the first results in already and it has blown me away.

Regards
Robert

So I don't sense any aggression or perversion in our communication. Thanks.
And I make yet another suggestion for improvement to the site. Telling the forum right from the start the gender of the member.

Is that so you don't have to guess whether or not you're accidentally stalking a male?

Well to be truthful a guy to guy communication is able to convey a different tone than a guy to gal post.
There are certain words that are pretty much taboo in that situation.

That isn't how it works Rob, sometimes Women find that not identifying their gender reduces the archetypical need for Men to hit on them. Nobody needs to specify gender, and they most certainly do not need to express their sexuality. After all a Science site devoted to the discussion of things both Scientific and not so scientific, we do not need to know who is male or female or what their sexuality is, as the topic of discussion itself is what is deemed as important.

If you need to know that information then you are both in the wrong era and on the wrong site.

Baloney, you just want to stalk females cause you're a pervert. The younger the better, evidently.

He's not the only one who sees it, Rob. Nobody buys your bullshit.

Do yourself--and all of us--a favor and just leave.
OH yes Mr Balerion rules his kingdom then is it?
Funny thing is I've done hardly anything wrong, it is all one big mistake and even Stryder can see the possibility of that. But I won't go that far as I know I stir you guys up for I wanted to see what you are made of.
And as you know you are made from the hardest material known to man.
So it isn't going to be easy to get you to see me as I really am.
Especially while you are wearing your welding glasses.

That would make it harder to protect members from people like yourself. At least if you are not sure if the other poster is male or female, you'll think twice before stalking them.

That's a lie. You're a liar, and unless you change your behavior, you're not going to last long.

Telling the forum right from the start the gender of the member.

Seriously? That's your solution?

The gender of forum members should be of no relevance what so ever. If they ask you to stop PMing them crap or posting crap, you should respect that.

What makes you think I would have to?
You said "Originally Posted by Trippy ... Failure to do so could be construed as sexual harassment in some jurisdictions, and PM's can be made available as evidence."
So which jurisdictions were you thinking of?

I am only too willing to have all my PMs open to scrutiny, but I will only do that voluntarily with permission of the other party, unless as you say the "jurisdictions" get involved.
I've got nothing to hide.

Of course I do that, but they have not said that in a PM, but make a song and dance about it on the open forum, (as Trooper did) just to make one look silly. That is so wrong, and so under the belt it is not funny. Who have I kept posting when they have asked me to stop? Absolutely no one, and to even insinuate that I do is wrong.
I hope you are learning some forum etiquette Trippy.
