Have you used a gun?

wait...you are not in Amsterdam? :bugeye: After all these decades of knowing you...I was wrong to think you lived there...I did not know the real you, the you who did not live in Amsterdam...how more wrong could I have been! Have Gods no mercy upon my humble innocent soul?!!!

I live some 60 km from Amsterdam (that's halfway across the country lol).
And it's illegal in Amsterdam too by the way ;)

So how do they smoke it in the "coffee houses" or whatever they are called? That's like findin' out their ain't no Mickey Mouse at Disneyland. :)

Back on topic...

Since of course, Sam lacks the ability to ask a straight question. :))) Just curious what you're REALLY asking, Sam.

by the way..I've have 3 guns pointed at me, and I've pointed one at someone else only once...never been shot at.

i only own one, but ive used a fair selection of rifles and one shotgun, i was only 10 at the time and it nearly knocked me over, ive stuck to rifles since then.

as for the purpose; just target shooting and euthanising farm animals.

"A good coffeeshop is one that has a menu and a staff that will fully explain the expected effects of each type of weed. If they do not have a menu, find one that does. There are so many coffeeshops in Amsterdam...don't waste your time on a shady one.

Technically, it's illegal to sell and consume pot, but years of tolerance have taught the Dutch to look the other way. At least that's what they print in the tourist books. In reality, use is permitted only in designated areas so Dutch officials can keep an eye on people. Out-of-control drug use was a huge problem in the past and useage is not tolerated outside designated areas. Use of hard drugs is dealt with harshly."

Geez, it is a straight question. :p

Just curious, no hidden motives. Promise ;)

i have never held, shot anything except a bow and arrow (i love archery:D). My uncle is a farmer however and has a rifle and shotgun and i have seen him shoot a hawk that was atacking the chickens. God a shotgun blast echoes

I've been to the gun range a few times to learn how to shoot, although I don't own a gun. My wife is of the opinion we should run out and buy one right away in case Obama gets elected and outlaws them.

um mad whats the point?

if they are outlawed then you will have to hand them back in and will have blown your money (i doubt the goverment will pay you what it costs you to buy in the first place)

Guns won't be outlawed in the USA, we need guns to defend our selfs... for now against other Americans with guns!

I guess it's just an article of faith in the US that if the government ever seizes all the guns, the next thing it will do is open up death camps. So any attempt to seize all guns in the US would likely turn into a bloody revolt. In which case, a gun or two would really come in handy.

well i can assure you that didnt happen after the amnasty caused by Howards anti gun laws after the port authur massicure:)

sure the laws in australia

No automatics, semi automatics or pump action shot guns. Handguns are only alowed for police, amaguard and sporting shooters and they cant leave the premises (ok cops take them on patrol as do armaguard but they cant take them home)

Gun licences require a VERY thougher background check and are only issued if they can show a genuine NEED.

Ammo and gun can never be stored together in the home and its advisable that one partner have the key to the ammo and the other to the gun (not sure if thats law but it is what they advise)

All guns must be registed and can only be transported in a case and an unusable form.

All collectors weapons must be permediently disabled
If i missed anything out bells can add to it
