Depends on whether your God believes in tough love, or whether another God is more powerful I imagine. If you have the love of a God, is there anything to fear?
That God.If you have the love of a God, is there anything to fear?
ExplainDepends on whether your God believes in tough love, or whether another God is more powerful I imagine.
Well, if you are certain your God loves you, but he's into tough love - and decides that killing your friends and family, and giving you cancer, will make you into a better person - then you might fear him acting on his love.Explain
Would any of that matter if God loved you? Again, what would there be to fear?Well, if you are certain your God loves you, but he's into tough love - and decides that killing your friends and family, and giving you cancer, will make you into a better person - then you might fear him acting on his love.
Or if your God loves you and wants you to be happy, but a stronger God might smite you because you worship the wrong God, again - you might still fear for your life.
That God will change his mind about you seems like an obvious one.If you have the love of a God, is there anything to fear?
What is God's armor? That God will change his mind about you seems like an obvious one.
For example, some say that God will send you to hell if you sin (i.e. disobey God's wishes/commands). Real people are afraid of that.
Don't ask me.What is God's armor?
Seems like we can survive a lot, put up with bunches, endure life's challenges.Don't ask me.
My apologies, folks.
Fear about what? Death? Or what happens after? My apologies, folks. I'm at present living with and providing care for a relative who is in her twilight years. There's a lot of fear there.
It really depends what she's afraid of. God isn't necessarily a comfort. If she believes God loves her, she has nothing to fear, which is the message I tried giving her, though I think she missed the point.
Depends on the god, I guess. Which god does she believe in?She worries about her sins, but if she can forgive herself and others, how much greater is the forgiveness of a God?
I think I already answered that.My point is, if you are loved by a God, love being God's armor, what is there to fear?
So they say.Even death has no power over God's love.
