That does not surprise me. Thou shall not kill (unless they are really bad people).

I don't know if this was addressed, but a more accurate translation of the Torah is "You shall not murder". There is no prohibition against a justified killing. There is plenty of killing in the bible, for goodness sake read the Leviticus - misbehaving child; kill him or someone collecting firewood on Saturday; kill him.
