And there is evidence that the Israelites were slaves in Egypt as well. The Boston Papyrus provides an Egyptian slave list containing Hebrew names.
My mistake!
It was the Brooklyn Papyrus, not the Boston Papyrus.
Sorry!

So, is this about google maps proving some historical accuracy of the Bible, the existence of God, or both?
I'm going to email Spielberg with an "India Jones and the existence of God" movie plot.
BTW, "If someone says 'trust me...' - don't."
Don't underestimate the religious fundamentalists. There are huge numbers of believers who tell us that the bible is to be taken quite literally. SetiAlpha6 may well be one of them. The Bible, to modern eyes, is a book of parables, not to be taken literally.
There'll doubtless be a lot of local pastors who will tell you that the bible is literally true. I'm not sure what the Pope's position is. It might depend on which bible story you're talking about.Ask your local pastor. Or the Pope.
All you're doing is asserting. Present the evidence so we can discuss it. And don't just throw a thousand "examples" at us. Pick one, like the historical existence of Moses, and discuss that one in depth.I disagree, I think there is evidence that Moses existed, particularly at the Mountain of God Site.
The https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brooklyn_Papyrus is a medical document which includes, apparently, spells for curing snakebite. It was the Brooklyn Papyrus, not the Boston Papyrus.
OK, so you contradicted yourself.Exactly. "compelling".

Here's some diced carrots and celery for that word salad.....the inertia of nothingness...
Has anyone made a claim that there is no evidence? Or simply that there is no sufficiently reliable evidence?Any claim that there is no evidence for the Exodus Account, as stated in Wikipedia and in numerous other sources is false.
Has anyone made a claim that there is no evidence? Or simply that there is no sufficiently reliable evidence?
Because it would be foolish to claim the first.
Like it would be impossible to refute the second.

Why? What problem do you have with the many evidences at the Mountain of God Site?
Have you just come on here to argue?
Why not disappear and come back once you have sorted out your ego problem.
