Creepy things caught in photos

This is just a normal photo of some friends out having a good time. Or is it? Look closely and you will see a clear face in the dark area in the lower left, The person taking the photo didn't notice it till later when looking at the pics. And there were no extra people present when the photo was taken, so it's not someone crouching between the girls. Embrace the chaos!

The famous Boot Hill photo of 1996. Here Ike Clanton, the man who took the photo, discusses it and vouches for its authenticity. I believe him.

Pareidolia strikes again.

Or some completely corporeal fella, just for fun, crouched down there between the women. Between the women's hair you can actually discern the top of his headwear, which has a hue and texture distinct from that of the jacket of the standing guy behind them. This one was easy - no special debunking or photographic analysis required.

Perfect for Halloween fun. Booo!

It could be a poster that "just happened" to be caught in the snappy. It could be lots of things. But the likelihood that its MR's wet dream is just not very high.

Can't be anyone that was present when the photo was taken for the obvious reason that they'd know if there was a 7th person there at that time.

"As viewers examined the photo more closely, they noticed something eerie lurking among the friends—an extra person, someone who wasn’t part of the group but was right there, hiding in plain sight."

Creepy photo taken on cellphone by a 13 yr old girl while on a fishing trip. Real or fake? Looks real to me.

"She was going through the pictures on the way and she came across that one and freaked out," Ogletree told InsideEdition.com. "My daughter sent it to me. At first I am looking at it thinking, 'Who is this? "She called me. Then she started crying and she was really upset about it."

Haley’s grandparents confirmed that she wasn’t making it up so the mom took to Facebook to share the spooky experience in a post that has since gone viral.

“I personally think it's pretty cool because today is Kolton's birthday and he caught the biggest fish he's ever caught! It looks like the man is happy for him!” Ogletree wrote on her Facebook post."

A real man standing in the shade of a tree, yes. Why do we think he is an apparition of the dead? Because a 13 year old was creeped out?

Because the man wasn't there when she took the photo. This isn't rocket science..

"Haley was going through the pictures and noticed a seemingly smiling black man standing in one of them, next to her brother, but her mom, Jessica Ogletree, said they were the only ones in that particular spot at Paradise Public Fishing area."

She didn't see the man there when she took the photo. She was focused (sic) on the people she was shooting and failed to notice that extra person. Happens all the time. I used a Mamiya 645/1000s when "Away the snoopy team!" was called. Got a really good picture of Soviet captain flipping us off. It hung in the wardroom of USS Reeves for a long time.

Nope...no one was there other than her and her brother:

"but her mom, Jessica Ogletree, said they were the only ones in that particular spot at Paradise Public Fishing area."

They would definitely know about a complete stranger standing around close to them.

Right.. because they were there and so would definitely be aware of someone else if they were there.
Well, no. Some people are notoriously unobservant. More generally, people often don't notice things that are right in front of them when they are concentrating on something else.

You've seen the video with the basketballers and the gorilla, haven't you?

I've seen the video of the distracted people not noticing the gorilla. Distraction does that. It's nothing new. But that doesn't mean undistracted people won't notice things that are present to them, particularly a stranger standing next to them in a park. Besides that the person in the pic is visually different from the physically present ones. He is translucent and colorless, like most apparitions tend to be. You can see the tree trunk behind him thru his cap.
