Congratulations America - you got the president you deserve

We all know Republicans are "special" people who have children with "special" needs. Those parents are now freaking out as IEP meetings across the US are revealing to them that their children will no longer have IEP funding under Trump. You just can't write this stuff.

I believe there was an effort to get rid of Trump so he could not be elected.
I believe there was an effort to seek justice against someone who was reasonably thought to have committed crimes.

But, okay - let's put aside the specific individual in question, and please answer these following questions:

1. Do you believe that people, where there is sufficient evidence to prosecute them of crimes, should be prosecuted?
2. Do you believe that anyone has the right to hinder efforts to return documents to the US government that either at best do not belong to that individual but to the government, or at worst contain classified information that would put the US at risk were that information to be revealed to people without the necessary clearance?
3. Do you believe that someone who plotted to overturn an election through falsification of elector certificates should be held accountable for those criminal activities?
4. Do you believe that someone who fraudulently misstated their declarations of net worth so as to benefit from preferential terms in the market (whether or not they actually received them), something against the state's law - should be prosecuted appropriately by said state?
5. Do you believe that someone who is deemed "more likely than not" to have committed sexual assault should not, in some way, be punished for their actions?
6. Do you believe that someone who is deemed "more likely than not" to have defamed someone should not be similarly punished for those actions?
7. Do you believe that anyone, acting in their private capacity, is somehow above the law?
8. Do you believe that someone campaigning to be President is somehow above the law?

Just seeing where you stand on these matters. A simple yes/no answer to each should suffice.

What gives me the belly cramps from laughing so hard is that Donald Trump has been impeached twice, been convicted of a crime and
has been accused of a total of 91 criminal charges across four separate criminal cases, which include:

  1. 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment to Stormy Daniels1.
  2. 32 counts of willful retention of national defense information and other charges related to his handling of classified documents1.
  3. 4 counts related to the January 6 Capitol riot, including conspiracy to defraud the United States1.
  4. 21 counts in Georgia related to attempts to overturn the 2020 election results1.
And now here he is back in office. The left has tried so hard to get him out of office or convicted for so long and yet here he is.

This has definitely been the most entertaining election of ALL time, in all of presidential history. I mean, you can't make this shit up. Hollywood writers should've just stayed on strike because we don't need them. This is certainly a great time to be alive.
You are witnessing the result of very stupid people who are going to regret what they did. Hollywood already did "Idiocracy" which is now coming to be the reality. Of course, when Trump's decisions over the next few years begin to affect your life, you won't be belly laughing anymore.

Who cares? This is hilarious.

It's a sad state of affairs, and speaks volumes for the poor state of US politics when someone with the personality traits of Trump manages to have such a detrimental impact on the political system as a whole, and come back for a second term. And that's even before considering the policies.
Other Western countries have had their own milder versions (Berlusconi in Italy, for example), and while it may be funny, hilarious even, to you now, we just hope that it's not something you lot, or the world, ultimately regret.
When it all becomes history, will Trump be seen as the maverick hero, or a brown adult-diaper-stain on US politics? ;)

I never have regrets. I never will. I can't because there's no reason to.

Let's see how well this stands up over time, and come back to it after the next 4 years, eh? ;)

I mean, let's say that, hypothetically, Trump ruins the US and global economy, raises world tensions toward WW3, oversees the US's diminution on the world stage, results in many Americans dying through poverty, lack of healthcare etc, and also trashes your Constitution to the point where you are now a Dictatorship... would you not at any stage feel any regret for his being elected?
Just asking. :)

You mean people who live in fear. That too is their choice. Fear has no place in my world.
No, I did not say people who live in fear. And considering that Fox News does little else than fear mongering, the fear and the resulting rage is on the side of the morons who do things like calling in bomb threats, Swatting or sending death threats to those they were told to fear.

Yes, that effort was called a "Presidential Campaign", the court efforts were to hold Trump accountable for his crimes.
In my opinion the the cases were ploy to get him thrown in jail, aka election interference.
But it didn’t work. The cases just made him stronger. Now those mofos are shaking in their boots. :O
