David Bowie

"British rocker David Bowie is known for his roughish good looks, his scandalous rock star lifestyle and his affinity to things that are beyond the realm of what society deems as “normal”. The singer made headlines when he claims to have seen multiple UFO sightings when he was a child living in England.

Author Peter Koening paraphrased Bowie’s statement in the book Laugh Gnostic:

"A friend and I were traveling in the English countryside when we both noticed a strange object hovering above a field. From then on, I have come to take this phenomena seriously. I believe that what I saw was not the actual object, but a projection of my own mind trying to make sense of this quantum topological doorway into dimensions beyond our own. It's as if our dimension is but one among an infinite number of others."

Bowie referenced the many incidents of UFO sightings on books and even interviews. He freely gave details of the encounters and was never shy about admitting his beliefs of intelligent life living far beyond Earth.

I totally believe they both saw UFOs.
But were either on drugs at the time?
UFOs undoubtedly exist. I've seen one myself.
And its near certain ETL exists elsewhere.
But its only gullible fools that immediately believe, because something is not known or unexplained, that it is of Alien origin or Supernatural. :rolleyes:

At least neither claimed to be anal probed!
 
David Bowie and John Lennon claim they saw UFOs? Now there is the rock solid proof we have all been looking for. I am sure everyone on this site now believes we are being visited by aliens.

Hey that's nothing! John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Beck, Elizabeth Moss and Kirstie Alley all believe in Scientology. And there's aliens in there too.

Depends - was MR going to give us the background of each and ever picture, the biography of the person taking it, and a DNA sample to prove said photographer was human?

De-Grasse Tyson is simply stating facts and as logic dictates.
If you feel insulted, then perhaps you need to revise your thinking processes and update them as per the discussion in the video.
