Two airplanes ran into two 300 (relatively) foot wide buildings (roughly 1,ooo feet high) on 9-11. de facto, fedr808 is as wrong as Hell. The airplanes hit the buildings. Pure luck? According to fedr808.

Did the airplanes make the buildings fall down? fedr808 has said; it must be true because the two things happened only hours apart!

fedr808 might be wrong. fedr808 might be right. But fedr808 has not produced one sentence of convincing proof that there is a causal effect between the plane crashes and the building demise.

The building(s) structural design was revolutionarily strong. The building(s) were designed to stand after being struck by an aircraft of the type that crashed.

fedr808 has not said one word that is convincing that the aircraft could not have been piloted to hit the buildings. fedr808 has said not one word that is convincing that the crashes were able to cause the fall of buildings designed to resist such assaults.

I am not a man that suffers fools gladly. I am not a man that has very important time to waste arguing with morons.

Figure it out for yourselves.

1. No one has been able to find any analysis that confirms this.
2. Leslie Robertson, the lead structural engineer for the WTC disagrees and believes that it was designed to handle a collision from a plane flying slower, potentially lost in fog and that the jet fuel was not considered.
3. Structures have failed before when met with conditions that they were designed to deal with.
4. The towers did stand after being struck. They were up for an hour or so. Tens of thousands of lives were saved because of this.

Well I can already tell you that the quote is bullsh1t because the twin towers collapsed in one hour and 45 minutes, how could the fire burn for 3 hours if the building collapsed in less than two hours.

Obviously you didn't READ closely enough. . . do the research. THIS fire, (on the 11th Floor of WTC North Tower), happened in 1975.

We consider two examples from fires that were known to be very hot.

The June 1990 Broadgate Phase 8 fire.

The above photo shows a number of trusses and a buckled steel column after the Broadgate Phase 8 fire.

Note that the fire was hot enough to buckle the steel column.
Note that even though the trusses were obviously in the same fire, they show no sign of buckling.
