We have no such clubs in the USA! There are so-called S&M clubs around all over the states, but in none of them can anyone beat or whip or otherwise physically "harm" another person ....with or without their consent.
There used to be a PRIVATE club here in Dallas many years ago, but it was shut down because of the laws.
And please don't forget ....there's a big difference between the cops turning a blind eye to such things, and those things being legal.

Considering that rape is sex without consent, it would seem a bit silly to say that one can consent to not consent to consenting to non-consensual activities.
You know, based on my experience of industrial/goth clubs, I highly doubt that. I've walked into the bathroom at the Leland (lots of EBM, Detroit place) where there were three lesbians, one's bent over the sink getting spanked while she makes out with the other two. So I'm highly doubting that sadomasochists have some gung-ho approach to following the letter of the law that the rest of us...just lack.

but anyway, i dont think these clubs (wherever they may be) should be closed down, if its between to consenting adults then what they do to get excited about sex is up to them.

Well, I don't know. I had a friend in Colorado whose wife had once been an S&M advocate and she thought it was fun n' games. Then one night several people tied her up and whipped her ...leaving lifelong scars all over her back and ass and thighs. It was reallly fun for some of those people. What do you think she felt about it later?

did she go to a club? or was it at home with people she didnt know to well because doing it with people you hardly know is dangerous, and also if you dont like the look of someone then you say "thanks but no thanks" and you walk away, domination is all about trust, trust in the other person not to go to far.
Private home; private S&M club; she knew them all; she trusted them all; she yelled "no thanks" very loudly; no one heard or cared; ....;and she ended up scared for life. Fun, huh?
