Exactly. You demanded proof that one animal could evolve into another. I provided a list of "other animals" - stages they evolved through to go from dog-like mammal to whale. You have claimed that you are OK with minor adaptations, not major changes. I provided a list of animals that each had minor adaptations from the one before it. But when viewed over tens of millions of years, they did indeed evolve from dog-like animals to whales, one small adaptation at a time.
You now have exactly the proof you asked for. As I expected, you are trying your best to deny it.

Well, see, you may think that since you don't know it, no one can. But there are in fact people who spend their entire careers (for example) doing comparative anatomy on fossils. They understand it even if you don't.
Right. And why couldn't that have happened? Heck, 40,000 years was enough to force-evolve a wolflike animal into a chihuahua. Whales had 100 times longer. And Australian skinks went from four-legged animals to limbless snakes (even more of a change than legs to flukes) in 3.6 million years.

There's no way anybody can know enough about anatomy to compare fossils? There's no way anybody can understand radioactive dating sufficiently to date fossils accurately? There's no way to find out what oxygen isotopes are present in fossils?

Nobody is saying you have to trust experts, Jan. You can pretend you know better than all of them if it makes you happy. But there's no reason to take anything you have to say on this topic seriously.
You could apply the same argument to any situation where there are experts and you are unqualified. You don't have to accept it when your doctor says you need an operation or you'll die. What does he know? He's only got a piece of paper that says he went to a university for a few years and learned some stuff from some other experts. You don't have to accept that anything he says is true. If he shows you the x-rays, they are just pictures and he's just telling you a story based on the pictures. You can deny that the pictures mean what he says they mean.
You don't have to trust your lawyer, or your accountant, or your guru or your hairdresser. What do they know? Who says you have to accept what they have to say? You're Jan, so you can just know stuff better than all the experts. That is the magic of being Jan.
