"hmmmm you seemed to contradict yourself. on moment you were talking about how the powers KNOW peoples actions off b heart, etc, and how your actionsat indymedia got your comps confiscated etc.....then later you say just taliin , tappin on keys aint gonna do it, and in caps you assert we NEED ACTION. bit confused the what you MEAN by 'action'"
No contradiction. Anyone, and that includes any writer or journalist who picks up their pen, is using a tool of propoganda. This is true for the left as well as the right. While working with Indy I was aware that we were sharing information with other grassroots organizations world-wide that shared our same goals. A staunch right-wing American living in a small town and who owns a ranch may well never read a publication and would dismiss it they did. Indy isn't without an agenda anymore than Fox news. Ok, Indymedia is just a tool which is used in solidarity by and with other orgs that were very pro-active (we simply documented those events). Now do I think the pen works under these circumstances, in today's world? No. Not alone anyway. Why because there is so much disinformation. People can look up anything and everything on the web but that doesn't mean one has come across acurate, legitimate information. The best tool that the government can use is allowing a flood of real information mixed with false information sending a portion of the massess on a wild goose hunt. Its perfect really because as long as folks are contemplating masons, illuminati and transhumanists the muslim boogeyman, what really happened four years ago or what-have-you, they don't have to take a good look at what is changing and happening right now in governement or what changes are occurring right beneath their nose, what they can be controlled and influenced. Action takes different forms but the whole world right now is complaining right? I meet more people all the time who are against the US and its foreign policy, world government etc. But so what? All they do is discuss it, I have very rarely come across one who has a solution or is even having a discussion with the purpose of brainstorming a variety of solutions.
"listen up---and i dot say this bitchily, mainly cause for me that's forist truly honest intelligent posts i've gotten outta ya. dont de-value what i do here. and dont devalue the people here. i actually respect the people here even the real thickos..haha"
I assume you are the thicko and we the ones who have 'valued' you enough to even bother discussing the shit with you but I am not being bitchy.
"so what i do here ISaction. doesn't matter HOW small your action is. how samll your world IS. if you see someting not right, hidden etc etc. then enourage the exploring F it, and dont be put off by barriers and so on."
No it is not action it is self-indulgent. We come here for information or out of a sense of boredom or looking for help. Giving details about the patriot act and adding links to orgs/special interest groups that are working to change this is meaningful action. Not some cloak and dagger theory which is impossible for you to prove. The masons, illuminati are not hidden, there are scores of people writing about so called conspiracies when really we are dealing with government, big business, multi-nationals trying to strip developing or war torn countries of their resources and a completely self-serving foreign policy. But these subjects are lengthy, it means checking history, it means knowing what to decipher from the half-truths we find in the media. It then would mean taking a good look at the law and its changes and taking civil action immediatelty (something they failed to do in the States).
" reaality. right? i dont WANT to be manipulated. priod."
That I understand and can appreciate but have you ever considered perhaps that many of the sites focusing on Satan, illluminati etc are also trying to manipulate you? You are seeing something real right? Well maybe they have you chasing a ghost in the wrong direction when the real culprits are your local representatives. When was the last time you involved yourself in local politics nevermind the worlds? These conspiracies are meant to create more fear and more paranoia. They almost always skirt the real issues and never give a solution. Satan is here and that's all they have to say.
"i also am aware of the utter urgency of our situation. so am prepared to speak out to te death no matter that my effort might be like a fart in the wind"
Well yea it is a piss in the wind but why desire to speak to the death? I mean everyone speaks their peace to the end, its easy isn't it? The only time your speech is productive is if it causes someone else to DO something. Not just read what you have read so that both parties can converse on the same page just to go back to doing nothing at all and lamenting at how awful things really are.
"what you CAN do is EXPOSE their secret moves"
You don't know their moves and if you did it wouldn't be secret.
"and i disagree with you thatnot many believe governmentinvolvemenet in 9/11. according to reproted stats for say NYC it is over 50%...."
I have lived in NY for many years and I talk with people there all the time even while I am away. I talk to the everyday joe as well as thoughs who have access to better information and most do not believe the government was directly involved with 9/11. But so what? That doesnt mean it isnt true right? Well here is what is true, America has pockets of what some would call liberalism, if you go to the heartland of the US where the majority of americans live you will find a conservative movement very nationalistic and they are the most important voters. I would like to see the link you mentioned and remind you that stats are just that. There was a dutch woman here in Cambodia who interviewed 100 khmers from the villages using a translator to decide whether Cambodians wanted a war tribunal for the former Khmer Rouge. Later in her report based on a hundred people she decided that yes Cambodia wants a tribunal. This UN report goes to the Hague. Meanwhile here on the ground Khmers in certain areas (especially former KR strongholds) were praying for Pol Pot's return, this includes monks:

The woman who made the report had never been to Cambodia before this project and hadn't lived in the country a good 8 months. She's read books about a country she doesn't understand and where she doesn't speak the language. I bring this up only to highlight that stats target only a small population and can be tweaked for a specific responses by using guided questions like:
"Do you want justice?"
Well who wouldnt want justice! But if they were asked for example:
"The tribunals could possibly destabilize your country and lead to civil war. Is a tribunal costing 50 million plus to try one or two old men who are practically on their death bed worth another military squirmish?
...Well I think if she had she would have received more complex responses.
I don't mean to be off topic I am just trying to illiustrate how information can be gathered, distorted and used for a specific aim.
