wierdest meat

Oysters are really good uncooked. I know that some cook it (warm oysters) but I never tried that way.
"Salt" ??? Why do you add salt to oysters ?!

Anyway, I never heard about uncooked snails... Pouaaa.... :(

I agree, tiny bit of salt or none at all, just to give it a little kick. I have never had snail, except the disgusting stuff I saw on fear factor, I would imajine that it has to be washed very vigouraslyl and be sliced very very thin and served coctail style.

I agree with a previous poster, I had rabbits once in my life and it's nasty. Liver is the worst ever..most disgusting not fit for human eating.

Beside sea food, Lamb, specially chop loins is the most delicious meat that ever existed. Too bad, I gave meat up, not seafood though, they are the vegetables of the sea.

i like my oysters smoked. sushi is the best fish ever but i'm weary of trying the local shellfish uncooked (haha i'm from a town called oyster bay and i won't eat the oysters)

I agree, the idea of eating bottom feeders that feed primarily on waste and scrape the bottoms of our bays is disgusting, but they taste too darn good. I like to believe that specialty restuarants are safe for eating oysters and the chances of getting upset stomach is low, and I avoid eating shell fish in all you can eat chinease buffets.

i havn't tried a whole lot.
im not much of a pork fan though. And i agree the strangest meat out there is hotdogs.
but as far as the not completely common go, im a big fan of venison, and most small game. (Big family of hunters here). And while its not completely "meat" i like most cooked seafood. Was interested in trying swordfish the other day but the waitress said it wasn't very good there, so.. i passed. Shrimp is good cold though. cooked once but throughly chillled. I guess i dont get out much. but i would think if i did go somewhere that had more interesting selections i would try them as long it was a normally eaten part of the body.. no brains or intestins or anyhing else..

..but then, im a chinese food addict, so who knows what ive eaten and just couldn't read it. lol.

:D

my friend used to have beef vindaloo from a roadside shop everyday for 2 months. he stopped when he saw them make it. they usd to cut up dog and serve it as beef. apparently there wasn't muchof difference in the 2 flavours.

One other meat I love to eat on a regular basis:

:bugeye:

Then later once you get it

Then you realise AH YEA

And after its all done

*light that cig*

weird meat

When I lived in South Korea I tried both kaegogi (dog meat) and pork heart. And I must admit, neither were that bad.
