Why do we die?

Forget all the philosophy, the body is a machine designed to last for a specific amount of time. If we lived twice as long we would have double the population, or more. If it aint brke dont fix it.
 
are love and sex separable?
are letters in a word "separable" separable?
are strings in string theory, separable?

entropy gets em all.
 
Guys, the heart is a pump. That is all, an organic pump that even if superior to man made\mechanical pumps it has a life expectancy.

and in any case, this should be about why we die. Physiological etc. reasons. Not a single person's obsession about demanding people to prove him something.
