I will make a suggestion, though. How about if, we all go to a nice quiet forest place and meditate, sleep, or lounge around for a while to COOL OFF. This discussion is crossing that fine line between intellectual feedback and mental fistfighting. Or, as a shorter method of cooling off, we can step in the tub and soak our heads. In my oh so humble and insignificant opinion, cooling off might help this thread actually go somewhere.
 
I think the son of God has control over his destiny, and weather some rather puny Roman bureaucrats could kill him. Pilate gave the sentence, but the guy that nailed him to the cross and stabbed him in the side really killed him. Then again the friggin cross killed him because he was being hung from it.

Once again, who, is trivial in the grand scheme of things. But its fun to talk about :D

Assuming that I believe your religion, which I don't and am proud not to, yes. It is less of a point who killed Jesus than the ideals he embraces. The people who did it are all cast into the burning lake, blah blah blah case closed sayonara suckers fr them. Zip.

As for Jesus, I think you religious types would stress more on the nature of his death, why he died, and what he said on the cross and after that. I'm sick of religious idiots, but Jesus still impresses me. "Father, they know not what they do". He's a guy with real guts.

So, we should not wonder who killed Jesus. We should wonder why.

I'm sorry, I didn't bother to read the whole thread, but what is the point of discussing who killed Jesus? Isn't this murder prescribed a long time ago? And after all, when you look at it from a divine point of view, God killed him, didn't he? He sacrified his only son, or something like that, through the hand of those physical persons who actually made the physical body of the person known as Jesus to stop functioning. That doesn't mean that he's dead though( right Tyler? :D) , only that he doesn't have a physical body anymore....:)

Since time is just an illusion, a difference of perception, Truth must be beyond time. Since God is omnipresent, He is beyond time. Truth is also omniscient, what agrees with "God's Theory". Throught omniscience and omnipresence, omnipotence come into being, what concludes the three charcateristics of God throught the space-time perspective.

when a black hole forms it creates a singularity in itself. With tht singularity the black hole has created his own time which is independent from our "real" time. When a black hole deceases (it can do tht according to Stephen Hawking in "A brief history of time" it is destroyed and the remains of it dissapear (maybe go to another unverse) thus its time is destroyed. If our universe ever goes back to singularity again "big crunch" then our time would be destroyed also. Thus you clearly see tht our time was created in "big bang" and potentially will be destroyed in "big crunch".
