Where is God?

Not only inability to support their claims but often unwillingness to try.

<>

Their unwillingness is no doubt driven by their inability.

Lets face it... if a theist had anything they would be buying bill board space....but they have nothing other than "faith"...and lets face it if the only way you can believe in something is by "faith" that means you have only faith in the absence of facts and evidence.

Despite the flaws they have the answer...faith...with faith the flaws become invisable... there was a flood and God killed all humans 4500 years ago bar 8 individuals and although there is no evidence of such a flood they believe...via faith...shows how reliable faith isnt.

What they are really saying is "We have no facts or evidence and all we have is an unfounded belief that all these unsupported claims and made up superstitious stories somehow could be the way it is ... which happily coincides with our wishful thinking."

And wishful thinking it is...that thinking produces a delussion that there is a creator of an incredibly incomprehensible large universe and that somehow that creator did it all so humans could worship that creator and be granted never ending existence.

How it does not sound rather far fetched to them is curious but entirely apparent.

BUT The motivator for the theist seems to be fear...they fear hell and they fear death... more than they fear reality.

You would think that some theist reading any of this would say "I will show them thar afeists with proof of God" and come forward and prove all they rattle on about is not just made up superstitious God stories.

You could expect that the seemingly intelligent theists here could resolve the matter of Gods existence...well if they can not, and they seem smart and clever, is it not reasonable to conclude that although they wont shut up they are absolutely incapable of "putting up".

Reminds me of theists who say aliens are far fetched or unbelievable. I tell them aliens are much more plausible than gods but they cannot understand.

I shared the train one day last week with God on my way into town. He was being loud and obnoxious. The Latina sitting across from me made a face and I rolled my eyes in response. It was terribly annoying. You can imagine our relief when he exited the train and became more quite.

Like Jesus riding into town on a DONKEY!

I agree with the poster who commented God exists within Mathematics or the Laws of Physics.

In order to govern God must be non-interventionist, hence some believe not in the entity.

God gave his life with the Big Bang, like the Engineer's when they drink the black goo and give their lives to create life on a planet.

With a feather in his cap and called it macaroni.......
Yankee Doodle, bumbling bumpkin that he was, tried his best to imitate the latest style, but only embarrassed himself in the attempt. Thinking himself a fashionable dandy, he stuck a feather in his cap and somehow thought that was macaroni. That was so something a doodle (meaning fool or simpleton) dandy would do.

Many theists have asked me "Have you found god?"
I ask "Is it playing Hide&Seek?'

Yep, in the Higgs field . Waving back and forth and little bits of God showing up for an instant in material form as tiny little vibrating strings, only to be obscured again by the wave function of the field..... , hmmmm.

p.s. is it just metaphysical "wave function" or "wave interference functions" in the field?
