IN our culture .even if one can be known for his bad reputation and rudness with others, he lower his gaze when his father talks to him or shouts at him.

That's sad. If someone deserves respect, they should get respect. If not, not. And lowering one's head is simply showing disrespect for oneself. It is sad that some fathers need this kind of debasement in their sons to feel good about themselves. It certainly has nothing to do with love.
