Is Donald Trump (AKA The Donald) serious about running for president or is he up to something else? Trump used to be a Democrat and is a recent new comer to the Republican Party only switching his registration in 2009.

Can a man become POTUS without being able to shake hands? Apparently The Donald does not shake hands - an apparent germaphobe.

Then there is the issue of abortion. The Donald was for it before it was against it. And he was only recently for it...before he decided to run for POTUS on the Republican ticket.

The Donald was for UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE before he was against it. In 2000 when he was considering a run for the presidency, he was for a Canadian style universal healthcare system.

Now that he is after the Republican/Tea Party nomination for president it is a different story. And if he has enough money to fund his own campaign as he claims, why is he bothering running as a Republican which would require these huge flip flops in positions.

Is the Donald just playing a big joke? Will he one day wake up and tell his birther followers, I was just playing you guys for the saps you are? This man is 65 years old. How many 65 year olds are still deciding and flip flopping on major issues? If one is to believe Trump, he is.

So just what is up with Trump? Is he serious about running for POTUS or is it all a big joke? Is The Donald playing the Republican/Tea Partiers for fools? Personally, I think that is exactly what he is doing.

of course he just flip flops. he's just an entrepreneur, which is putting it nicely. he is an icon of capitalism. he's just about the money, control and prestige.

he also has really gaudy taste but he thinks he has good taste. he overdoes everything which is a classic piggish capitalist.

Trump blamed gas costs on the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), a conglomerate of developing nations responsible for 40 percent of global oil supplies. He said on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday that lowering the price of gas is as easy as telling OPEC's members to do so -- something he believes President Obama is incapable of.

When host Candy Crowley argued that the United States can't control OPEC, Trump disagreed, saying our country only needs "brain power."

Would he walk in and tell them "you're fired" if they refused such a request?

Trump also criticized Obama's handling of the conflict in Libya, saying the United States should just go in there and take the country's oil.

"Either I'd go in and take the oil or I don't go in at all," he said. "We can't be the policeman for the world."

He added that he would leave Libya "plenty" of oil so that "they can live very happily" as well.

Just look at anyone that runs for public office and you will see them doing the flip flop dance anytime they need to.
 
Good now show me a picture where The Donald is shaking a lot of hands, and in particular the hands of a teacher. Trump told readers about his germaphobia and his dislike of shaking hands in his ghost written book, "The Art of the Deal".

He has said that if does not get the Republican nomination, he would run as an independent.

Well that certianly is an endorsement of the man! :) You want to elect a man who lies to you? The last Republican nomination for president was a great flip flopper. You never knew from day to day what side of the fence he was going to wake up on.

You already have been doing that for generations. Look at Obama and all the lies he has been found of saying and he's only half way through his term. They all lie to one degree or another but the thing to try and find is someone who lies the least, if that is at all possible, which I find very difficult in todays political arena.

First of all you stated that he doesn't shake hands and when I provide you with proof he does you change your statement. What a waste of space you are. Not many people enjoy trying to reason with you because of your changing the rules as you go if you are found wrong and I've proven to you many times you are just that. To bad you just can't say that you were wrong and admit it when you find out that you were instead of trying to rearrange the way you make your accusations.

Oh, now how do you know who I have voted or not voted for in the past?

Since you say Obama has has passed a lot of lies, please prove it. And if you think Obama lies more than anyone else, please produce the proof. Boy are you going to be in for a suprise if you take up this challenge.

LOL, yeah. As I previously pointed out to you Trump is on record that he does not shake hands. It is in his book.

Just because you found one picture of the man shaking hands at some time in the past (assuming the photo is not a doctored photo) does not take away from the fact that Trump does not shake hands as he admits in his book, "The Art of the Deal".
 
Hey we voted for George W. Bush, and Palin still draws a crowd, Trump must figure any idiot has a chance.

I didn't say he was stupid. I said that he is ignorant and a jerk. To be fair I haven't met the man face to face, but I get the impression that he isn't someone who has a whole lot of tact based on his slew of ignorant, insensitive comments. I don't know his political stance on enough things for me to say that I would never ever vote for him, but to be honest he seems more like a sideshow attraction than an actual candidate I can take seriously. (I know I'm biased, but I can't take birthers seriously)
