What is "space" consisted of?

After we travel outside of our atmosphere here on Earth, I realize that there isn't any oxygen for us to breath. My question is than what makes up that vast black area??
 
Space is another name for the gravitational field. Even in vacuum regions where there is no matter present, you still have gravity. QM says there are no actual vacuums, since a residule energy resides at every point in space. So in empty space, you'll still have lot's of stuff going on, with gravitational waves running about, virtual particles popping in and out of existence and so forth.
 
Actually it is spacetime that can be considered a gravitational field.

Space is the distance between objects.
 
You can define space as the distance between points, but I believe thinker wanted to know what is in that distance. It doesn't seem to be a pure vacuum.
 
The distance between two objects is created from the interaction that builds them. The scale of this interaction creates what we see as space, time and everything according to Savov's Theory of Interaction.

Space may be a form of extremely diluted energy, while the time may be the evolution -either direction- of this energy; when this energy reach a higher level of density, it become matter.
What do you think?

Yes it is all a matter of density. You may call it energy, interaction,
whatever. The pattern of density increase is a 3D spiral as shown
in Eugene Savov's theory of interaction - every body becomes denser inward in a 3D-spiral way. The less denser parts are seen as space the more denser parts as matter. This finding and the resulting theory seem to rock the big bang universe.

Think about this! If the seen as empty space is really empty, then why does it exist? The observed as empty space is filled with interaction (energy), which brings the bodies together and keeps them at a certain distance apart as shown in Savov's theory of interaction.

A space void of anything -known or unknown yet to us- is (philosophically) a non sense, because a 100% void is inexisistent and consequently cannot exist, there being nothing to exist; this energy may be manifested in an infinity of forms, some of whom may be detectable by us, while others, not. Limiting the amount of available forms of energies to few,(gravitational, electromagnetic, etc.) do not make sense, this number being the reflection of our present knowledge, which can be far away from reality, if reality exist.
However, if in different locations at different times (assuming that we can monitor different locations and times), this named energy is actting in a similar manner (following the same rules) then the problem is far more complex, implying either comunication and/or a common source. If this is true, then may be the other name for this energy field will be God (not in any religious sense).

That sounds like a rather odd question. Are you asking what peer reviewed journals Einstein and folks submitted their papers to?
 
There is nothing illogical about empty space. While such a space would be empty of matter, it would still be space itself. In that sense, the difference between empty and filled is a matter of flat vs curved. Why should the amount of spacetime curvature give any special ontological status?

Actually, the topic as to what energy is, and how it relates to the geometric structure of the universe is not a settled question. Any one who posts a web site or to one according to copy right law is published. Any person who is qualifyed and who reads and responds to such has reviewed the work. So that only the word peer which means equal,colleague,contemporary,friend,cohort.

I am tired of those who put down the web when it dose not agree with them and say those people havent published in a peer reviewed journal.

The men i sited where the top and first in there feilds who were their peers. And when their papers where first submited they where ridiculed for their new ideas.
