this isn't a 'prove to me' god exists thread..
this is a 'what if' thread..

what if god could be proven beyond any doubt?
what if god were to show himself so that everyone would not doubt his existence?

how would that change reality as we know it?
wouldn't that create a society where we no longer have any choices?
i think personal responsibility would be non-existant..
would we have any more technological advances? or would we revert back to a technologyless society?

i sure wouldn't play golf with him

then perhaps put a few history books in a pillow case and come out swinging

ie... if one man/entity/god....could walk around, observe and experience what has occurred and not get involved; i call foul!

how would that change reality as we know it?
some teams would feel like winners and some like losers

but to me, the thread is like trying to create a menu for when martians come to dinner.

look at feudalism itself; same man created idealism

depends on which god you thinking about

would we have any more technological advances? or would we revert back to a technologyless society?

again, some think a full frig and video games are what heaven will be like

It would be the same as

What if Unicorns where real.
What if there were magical Faries.
What if there Centaurs and Minaturs.

It would be just like that..

The answer is clear. If we could be shown that anything in the realm of the supernatural existed beyond a doubt, we would have no choice but to consider it part of reality and act accordingly.

But again, the wishful thinking of the deluded only serves to demonstrate their folly and insanity.

What do you consider supernatural?

Peace be unto you ;)

What do you consider supernatural?

I personally have no considerations as to what is supernatural, I simply refer to the definition.

Allah and the angel Gabriel certainly fall under that category.

Okay, so you're asking for evidence of something for which you have no interest in even defining?

Nice :D

Peace be unto you ;)

You are deplete of a dictionary or something? Do we have to hand hold you through puberty, too?

Peace be unto you ;)

Suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

Well clearly you have no interest in the subject. Anyone can pick up a dictionary and read the definition, I asked you for what you thought would be supernatural...

Some could argue that even Humans are supernatural as we create 'natural conditions' which otherwise would not exist had we not created them ourselves- in essence we can manipulate natural laws.

Secondly if all observations are through a natural being (us), how can it (i.e brain) perceive anything supernatural- knowing full well that everything is is because of our brain. The moment any supernatural 'interaction' occurs with us, that signal is automatically going to be converted to natural, as it is this that we perceive.-

Peace be unto you ;)

Clearly you're not actually interested in anything but nit-picking.
Q answered your question:

Ah I get it, you'd argue that we're supernatural because we operate entirely within natural laws.

And a marvellous failure to understand (or misinterpret) the point.

Or you fail to understand, that some people think supernatural is simply the manipulation of natural laws! That is why I asked for a definition from HIM- not the dictionary.

And a marvellous failure to understand (or misinterpret) the point.

Actually that was a separate argument about the plausibility of such evidence.

Peace be unto you ;)

In which case it's NOT supernatural, is it?

Actually that was a separate argument about the plausibility of such evidence.
Nope, you're dragging it that way, but that argument isn't at all necessary.
